Why cant they allow for IWnet and 'unofficial' dedicated servers?
If IWnet is the only way to offer stat tracking and rankups or whatever then just remove these features from non IWnet play. Ido not see a good reason why PC gamers cant have their cake and eat it too. Is this just IW shoehorning the console game onto PC's with as little effort as possible? I suspect that the reaction to IW's stance will be that PC gamers will simply pirate the game, play the single player and then move onto something else. I would imagine that the potential loss of revenue is a good reason to seriously consider implementing some sort of dedicated server feature for PC gamers, after all money talks. |
