Just a hunch but I bet this game goes console, so wait and see (as usual) will be my stance.

I'm more worried about Stalker 2 having too much recycled content again like previous Stalkers.

This thread and situation makes me sad cause my hobby has become something it shouldn't be.

Rage, Dead Island and DNF all recent prime examples of the way PC gaming SHOULDN'T be.

Anyone remember 1nsane Racing? Now that's a game that needs a sequel/remake. Multiplayer in that game was a blast.

You get your wish.

A+ on PC support for sure.

C on the game due to its console biased design.

And still no demo??

I see mods and hacks are keeping Dead Island still flowing down the digital pipes.

The piss filter is fine if it makes sense like a desert scene or smog filled city but not a whole game.

Glad this mod exists. Not glad its nVidia only.

Why would I buy DLC that does not tell you what it contains?

Yeah, 60 cars. They could be 20 different Skylines, 10 Model T variations and 30 Hondas for all I know.

Bottom line, there is NO privacy any more.

Cameras and GPS are great aids but the come at a cost.

Waiting for phone industry to start doing the same thing - selling personal location info to companies.

What really grinds me is how they hide it in the T&C paper that NO ONE ever reads and is very difficult to read or understand.

TW2 was $15 at GamersGate 3 weeks ago, $25 at Steam is not much of a sale.

I do like the game after its been mod'ed for better inventory and gfx tweeks.

Mad I bought the first one. Tight FOV makes me ill and there is no way to change it.

How some of you can enjoy playing broken or incomplete PC games for near retail price is beyond me.

Nowadays, for regular retail price I expect a full, 95% finished, quality product and most console ports like this one don't come close.

I just find it wrong to buy and support this on PC.

If it ain't Battlefield or what-not then nobody is playing the fucking multiplayer anyway. A 6 hour campaign is standard for $60 games now-a-days and this one is 7 hours and $30.

What world do you live in? Multiplayer is hugely important, co-op anyone, especially in short games like this.

7 hours is claimed by the makers, most forum posters and reviewers are finishing the game in 5 hours or less.

Deus Ex for the almost standard GMG price of $34 has 3 if not 4 times the gameplay amount for near the same price.

Your sense of game value has been dumbed down or something.

Over priced for the basic gameplay and length.

If this is true then so is almost every other shooter.

Most other games this short length at least have multiplayer included.

For what you get, this game is definitely overpriced more than most.

22. Re: Why the Syndicate Remake is a First-Person Shooter Sep 12, 2011, 22:22 Bumpy

"That would sell about 200k copies" is the sad truth in today's ADD saturated market.

And I don't see any way to change this fact.

What would really make this game interesting if they did both view points, something like Raven Squad only better.

And why would you get a VAC ban? The game isn't competitive MP, you should be able to do whatever you want. Would be pretty stupid - they can't stock cheaters in any damn game, but they want to ban you for THIS!? Lame.

They are most likely anal about Achievement cheaters.

This game really sounds like a major mess.

I hear there is no analog combat either unless you use a 360 pad.

Very half arsed port effort it seems. Developers need to learn how to make proper ports.
