LOL! So true (Verno)...
I HATE those ads, thank god for AdBlock Plus If I see a game advertising with ugly, misshapen women wearing less and less clothing the more ads I see, then I'm most certainly not even going to have a 'peak' of interest...
This is funny though. |

| Yes, it doesn't explain the pros and cons of, say, the warrior or rogue guilds... Or the temples, or the blacksmith (though honestly they're all very simple to get when you build them, except I didn't get to build a temple.) |

Yes I agree, only played it once but I learned a wealth of important information for succeeding in that mission Congrats btw! did you get any special popups, or "If you did this in the full game, you'd get X"?
Just curious, doubt it but curious...
Normally I think I would have given up when I started losing buildings to ogres, but thanks to the fact that you just direct troops and not micro every little thing, it kept me chugging. |

The second mission, if you read the prelude mission briefing, is that it's all a forced hallucination to train you in how to protect your kingdom. And also that everyone who does this test WILL fail, it's just a matter of time. Eventually you get level 20 bear-men that attack you and more
UI needs polish, feels alot like AOE 3 but I still am urged to play more. |

The nastiest DRM ever
I haven't seen any mention of any DRM with Majesty games.
Also 1C-related games are usually pretty limp in this category |

Megaupload downloaded smooth enough for me, meh. 400kb/s
Majesty 2 is pretty cool. I remember playing the original... I wish there was more flexibility in the demo though, you basically get swarmed from the start after the tutorial. I got up to the bear-men and got owned
Peaked my interest atleast. Majesty 2 comes out on Friday I believe (Sep. 18th) |

Agreed, wasn't excited til I saw this trailer... I've almost beaten the first on the Xbox, and it was 'OK' though unique.
This looks visually impressive, and the ability to scale buildings or cliffs freely, much less to propel yourself, is amazingly well done.

Mixed opinion on L4D2, but the idea that they're giving out pre-sale weapons or items sickens me...
Especially since GS will get their hands dirty with it, likely.
Mmm new maps for barricade builder mod... |

They're really against changing something often, and this would be the way to do it... If you think about it (and you did research by going horde/alliance and talking to alot of people), it's likely a one-time thing... though if you wanted to transfer multiple characters, then...well... Dayum.
$30 is still too much. I was expecting $15, at the most...
Also, they WANT you to start a new character and level it up, so it's either $15-$30 spent leveling up a character, or $30 to transfer an existing character, basically. They desire you to spend more time playing and wasting your time. |

This is just awesome. I love it when companies punish people who can't understand the spirit of fair play. I look forward to my halo. Not everyone who didn't cheat is getting a halo, and even some that didn't cheat are getting legit items removed, btw.
I for one lost legit items along with a bunch (albeit dupes) of other legit items, so Valve really just took a sloppy approach here. The official forums are slowed and consistently being posted on with disapproval even...
I admit, idling itself was bad, but the item drop system was FUBAR. I'm just glad they added spy and sniper milestones. Don't really care about the hats, but everyone wants hats and there was a way to have a good chance at getting one, so alot of people jumped on board.

I lost more than half my backpack... INCLUDING ITEMS I UNLOCKED MYSELF (KGB, not sure what else...as in I deleted the original one I got and had an additional one in its place)
Lost my stovepipe hat too... god damnit.
Really isn't cool, can't they just say "Stop idling now, or you'll pay the price" instead of doing possible damage like this?
Don't really care since I still have most of my unlocks, but I had unlocked everything through achievements and lost a couple items and dupes and now don't have the items in question, period... |

Now I'm curious... /logs in
It might have to do with how items are placed when you aren't in the game (if you go to that backpack showcase website, it shows items not on the grid..much like most of the items I got from idling appear there before I log in)

This sounds boring... isn't it CoH with RPG aspects? (customizable/level-grinding hero + squads + items)
I agree though, COH2! I'd like some more variation. |

DICE? DICE has nothing to do with MW2. Thank god!
Great vid all kinds of weapons it looks like, glad they realize that the guns are the game, and variety matters. (YAY! Shield!) |

Well, I dunno, I wouldn't pay for it unless I had to (if you think about it, SC2 requires you to log into BNET, so unless SC2 is secretly an MMO with a Pay-2-Play system, they won't charge for BNET unless it's unnecessary tools or abilities that you otherwise wouldn't need.
Cross-game chat would not be fee-based I'd imagine... I mean, come on, who buys ONE blizzard game? Everyone on your friend list is going to be playing one of 3 different blizzard games if they're online, and so will you (assuming you too are online)...
What could they introduce for a fee? private games? (Xbox Gold FAIL) High quality custom maps that are extremely popular? (Semi fail, but there were some amazing WC3 and SC maps I admit. Nothing I'd pay for, but these guys do deserve something for the hundreds of hours that go into some maps)
I dunno. I just want SC2 already. |
