Despite Ubi's negligence with the DRM, looking forward to Conviction on the 360.

Looks better than Dr. Ned atleast... (haven't tried underdome, but I haven't heard much good about it)

The game could really, still, use a good balancing patch first and foremost before any more DLC though.

Just picked S2 up for the 360 last week, in a sale, and have been having fun with it, though. Such a huge map to explore...

Had tried it on PC, wasn't too impressed with it. Dunno why it's more appealing on console, maybe the whole couch factor. Don't even have LIVE.

Ascaron threw in alot of fun quotes and backstory into the first two games, which made them feel very unique. Hopefully (big hope...) the next developer continues the tradition of putting TLC into the game.

Papadopoulos? Sexualising is a word??

What the hell is she even talking about? Seems like alot of "This stuff is bad!" yammering, with no real substance or reasoning...

Big Brother psychologist produces research for Home Office slamming Miss Bimbo and other titles

Miss Bimbo is just funny, though. Yeah, they "SLAMMED" Miss Bimbo. Heh.

Exactly, they can't complain. The game isn't based on hardcore WoW addicts. It's not a good business move to focus on pleasing them, either.

News Comments > Free Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun and Firestorm
11. Re: Free Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun and Firestorm Feb 13, 2010, 17:31 Rhett

Gonna go ahead and just leave this here.. Don't even think it requires Tiberian Sun to be installed (HOWEVER, I did have it installed, but I saw nothing requiring a link, just extract and play.)

Very, very high quality mod for TS that makes it C&C Tiberian Dawn, on the TS engine.

I had almost no issues with it, either playing it off or online.

News Comments > StarCraft II Beta This Month
3. Re: StarCraft 2 Beta This Month Feb 10, 2010, 18:12 Rhett

All you need is a battle.net account (www.battle.net) -- preferrably with a blizzard game registered to it (possibly requiring? I dunno.) -- then it asks if you're willing to beta test new products, including SC2.

It's random for the most part, though I think people who participated admirably in previous tests will reappear.

Otherwise, YAY! I can't wait!

Though I remember the hell I went through downloading Wrath of the Lich King when I got into the beta. Holy hell.

So...they still use CRTs over there? Completely oblivious to this "fancy new widescreen technology"?

Didn't like Dead Space, and I don't like anything EA puts out, so...

And yes, Steam does not prevent piracy. (look at MW2 for a great example)

This is pretty funny considering one of my cousin's friends keeps saying "STO is the best game ever! better than WoW!" (also bought BOTH the collector's edition ($80) AND the lifetime subscription ($240+?)

And yet they don't have enough servers.

This popped up mid last year, but it was so selective in where it was being done...

It was covered on www.cheapassgamer.com -- I think some people got some great credit out of it, but only for a handful of games, ever. The whole system was just flawed.

Additionally, if I recall, the extra 50,000 kills the gave to the one that the contest winner wanted, made a HUGE and win-changing difference.

If you get errors when clicking Play Now, just keep trying.

Atleast you guys likely have good computers I spent 20 minutes hunting down a key, and downloading, just to have it run like ass.

Reread it.

It basically says you can start the DLC at 34+ -- including leveling past 50.

Hope this adds new weapon types... HOWEVER, while I LOVED the game when it came out, they STILL need to patch it up and fix leveling.
