Typical EA Sports for PC. They haven't honored us with a Madden game since '08 and have the license so no one else can produce an official American football game. No NHL since '09. The only reason they still make a pc soccer game is the worldwide popularity I guess.
I wish 2K could make football and hockey games. NBA 2K13 is excellent! |

There's hundreds of tables available, editor to make your own, and it's free. Looks like the link to their forums redirects back to the main page of the site, meaning that there's actually very few tables available.
http://www.pinsimdb.org/ has 1000+ Future Pinball tables. Just need to create a free account. |

Most $60 games aren't worth half that either. I've already gotten 20 hours out of this game. Well worth $15.
Though, this dlc doesn't really interest me. I want new maps! |

Yeah, Sentinels was brutally hard. I never bothered with Hammer & Sickle after reading reviews.
Planet Alcatraz is similar, but really rough. Comical animations and translation. Ridiculous hit mechanics (about 10% melee success meant watching my guy shadow box for like 5 minutes till he finally knocked the other guy out).
ALFA Antiterror is another, but not really worth mentioning. Not bad graphically, but once I realized the enemies were shooting through the walls every time they went prone indoors, I gave up. |

For me too. I hunted down the original Brigade E5: Shattered Union on Amazon for $2. Worth it, but even less polish.
Also, if anybody likes these types in a WWII setting, I highly recommend Silent Storm. |

Anyone ever try 7.62 High Calibre? Similar to JA but with the pausable real time gameplay. I like it a lot actually. You can walk around all the towns between battles and talk to people to get new missions (and side missions). Translation is kind of rough, but there's an unofficial patch and a huge mod (blue sun) that fix a ton. Bought it on gamersgate for like $7 on sale. Well worth it to me. |

I bought it back during alpha for 10 bucks, and I've already more than gotten my moneys worth. If he decided to stop updating and call it finished than so be it. The mod community will take over.
I'm just glad this type of creative/survival whatever gameplay has gotten the attention. There are many 'clones' that are going to take this genre to the next level with or without Minecraft (as long as Notch doesn't pull a dick move and sue them all out of existence, if that's even possible).
I hope this becomes a game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13pf8znXBFw

From the interview: I can remember sitting in a room with Peter [Molyneux] and him being very explicit with me that… I believe the direct quote, if I remember correctly, was “I want a blind child to be able to win this game with their feet.”
Sounds fun.... |

My visa was denied. So I called the 1-800 number on the back and they said that the federal government won't allow any business with Cypress (where they are apparently located). I guess that it's a haven for credit card theft or scams or someshit. By federal government, I suspect you mean the U.S. government? Because I've bought all my games on GOG using a Visa and had no issues. My credit card also makes monthly payments to Cypress for my newsgroup service. Yes, in the US. I've tried visa through paypal too and it still gets denied. It sucks, I'd really like to use their service, but I'm screwed, I guess. |

I have a problem with GOG. I can't order through them. I created an account there to buy a game as a test run since I planned on getting The Witcher 2 and wanted to see how their service worked.

So I guess I'm screwed since I'm not creating a paypal account just for them, unless anyone knows any alternative? |

I get it. And I agree about the vehicle suspension in BIS games. Don't know why they haven't addressed it better after all these years.
If this was announced tomorrow than I'd guess it was an april fools joke, but it seems legit.
I'm looking forward to this. I love helicopter sims. I've got a HOTAS, pedals, and TrackIR all ready to go!
I can picture some scenarios already like landing on top of buildings and such. Hope it turns out good. |
