Dear RealmForge.

Your game looks like recycled feces. You should work for Activision.

I'm still waiting for an MMO that drops me into a compelling world and allows me to explore it at my own pace. No quests. No breadcrumbs. No hand holding. No going from point A to point B until max level. If I want to grind XP, I'll stop and kill some MOBs before moving on. In other words, something along the lines of UO or vanilla EverQuest. I'm really sick of MMOs like TOR that are nothing but glorified single player games.

I'm in this boat. I want a Vanilla EQ style game. No hand holding, real consequences for stupidity, feeling like you're actually in danger and lost when you decide to go exploring. And Nighttime was actually fucking Nighttime, damnit.

Guess I'll have to continue to play single player shit like Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma on the PS3 if I want that kind of experience, too bad they're single player.

Oh yeah, and TES Online is not too far off either.

Sadly after seeing the leaked Game Informer article on TES I'm not excited, looks like another WoW clone with TES stuff.

All they had to do was keep the way Skyrim plays and make it multiplayer, but no.

Who gave this Game of the Year?

The story was terrible, the animation and character models were terrible. Me and my friends barely made it through the entire story to the end without wanting to cut ourselves and regretting the money spent on this buggy piece of dung the entire time.

Is it poor performance for my Rig? Yeah, it is.

However the discussion was whether SR3 ran at 30FPS or 60

Which it does, so I'm not going to complain about getting 60fps in a game I really enjoy.

I dunno, I'm just not that guy.

It's great to see FPS in the 100's in some games, but as long as a game runs 60 I can't be mad at them.

Just to be sure Jerykk I just booted up SR3 with Fraps running.
Ran around and drove around for about 5 minutes just watching the FPS counter.
Lowest it hit was 48 or 49. Highest was 76 standing perfectly still.
Floated mostly in the 55-65 range though.
Recording dropped it to a pretty steady 30 but that is because I have it set to record at that obviously. So it will still be playable.

Great game, definitely picking up the expansion. They really did right by PC gamers with the port this time too.

Depends on whether you're using an Nvidia or ATI card. ATI cards run the game like ass. Volition said that they were aware of the issues and would fix them but that was a months ago. Haven't heard a peep since then.

I ran it on 2 crossfired 6870's never once had a bad framerate.

Again, what do you consider "bad?" People have different levels of tolerance for framerates. I consider 30 FPS to be bad for a console port. Some people think 30 FPS is fine. If you have two 6870s in Crossfire, you should be getting a minimum of 60 FPS. Is that what you actually got?

I hardly consider 30 bad, anything above 30 is fine with me. 60 definitely looks better no doubt but I wouldn't cry about a game running at like 40 or 50.

That being said according to Fraps it always ran around 60 as far as I recall. Granted, actually filming anything with fraps would slow it down. I don't get why some games handle being filmed better than others, I don't really get any slowdown at all in Battlefield 3 while recording.

I argue that Gangstas in Space and The Clones were both good DLC. But i also paid for the season pass so I got somewhat of a discount on all 3.

Speaking of Sega... Binary Domain... worst PC port in the history of PC ports?

Is was that bad eh? That's a shame, it looked kind of neat in a ridiculous camp kind of way.

I tried the demo on steam because the game itself actually looked like it could be interesting and fun....

5 Minutes in I was cursing. WASD is how you scroll the menu, Enter is the "Start button"

You start playing and it starts walking you through the tutorial telling you what buttons to press..... still shows the Xbox buttons, Green A, Red B, etc. So you have to smash the keyboard to figure out which one corrisponds to what because hitting Escape does NOTHING (Figured out finally I had to HIT ENTER BECAUSE IT WAS START SO THAT WAS THE PAUSE BOTTON) After you finally hit "Start" there is no menu, figured out F1 was options, no option to remap keys or figure out what buttons did what.

Tore what was left of my hair out.

Uninstalled the demo.

I downloaded it on Steam for the free weekend.
2 hours later deleted it.

Fast paced, kill streaking kiddy bullshit. What a waste of time and hard drive space that game is. Should be ashamed if you actually pay for it, even at the discounted price.

Still not working. Remember when game demo's just worked after you downloaded them? Sure am glad we're always online now. This is much better.

Going to go play Wargame: European A...something. Tanks blow shit up. Wargame: European Escalation. I wish that had more air power...expansion hopefully!

Beta, and Stress Test.
These words do not mean "Demo"

I've put over 120 hours into this game playing it several times with different friends Coop.

Bought it full price the day it came out.

Was worth every penny. The only DLC that wasn't really worth the time was the Genki one. Gangstas in Space and The Trouble with Clones were both great little additions. Clones had a super fun part for the last mission in it as well where you get super powers, can run really fast, and throw fireballs that I had an absolute blast with.

Not to diss on Path of Exile but it just felt very amateur to me. The skill trees were very convoluted, difficulty was all over the place, production value of the assets were poor and the gameplay didn't really grab me either. I got into one of the really early betas so maybe it shaped up a lot but that was my experience.

I didn't find the skill tree convoluted at all, but that may be because it was so similar to FF8's skill tree that it just made sense to me. As well as the Gem system being similar to FF7's Materia system. I loved the Skill/Gem systems because of that.

However, I agree that I still found the game mediocre and amateurish when it came to gameplay. It seemed like they just took Diablo 2's formula exactly (3 Chapters, 6 Major quests in each) and just went "Close enough"

What kind of moron goes to a forum and says shit that is going to get him banned in the first place.

I find this highly illogical. Especially if you have money invested.

'Need' has the advantage of in-built franchise name recognition.

And Fast and the Furious has the bult in franchise name recognition of VIN DIESEL. You don't need a second muscle guy and muscle car movie to compete with Fast and the Furious, fucking do something new.

I'd love a full on tabletop simulation. Turn basted Strategy based on 40K. But it'll never happen. I think I'm in the minority.

Game has been excellent the last few beta builds. Have been enjoying the rush of high speed flag capping just like back in the original game. Have had quite a few pucker your butthole moments when just barely getting a flag cap while being chased by half the opposing team.
