As I've not finished the original, this will (sadly) have to wait.
That's probably because PC gamers bailed their asses out, and made Alan Wake profitable. Not bad for a dead hobby. |

I really had high hopes for this game. Bioware's MMO and Star Wars seemed like a no-brainer.
Then they just did a copy/paste re-skin of WoW, except without a lot of the convenience features WoW has amassed over the years.
If companies want to keep selling pay-to-play MMO's they really need to start coming up with some new game play mechanics and concepts. I mean a Star Wars MMO with no multiplayer space battles? How tone deaf can you get?
Before WoW made a trillion dollars most MMO teams created their own combat systems, etc. Now it's all the same cookie cutter skill trees, etc. |

Chris Avellone (from Obsidian) is doing contract work for Inxile (who is making Wasteland 2). They're licensing some dialogue systems, and contracting Avellone to make an area or two, but beyond that Obsidian has nothing to do with Wasteland 2. |

It's like tramemarking "elf" Because their legal department is a bunch of assholes, who think they actually own the word "scrolls". |

| Nice to see them focusing on the important stuff. 64-bit clients and editors are just mere toys. Porting your old games to web browsers and phones is much more important. |

Also, you're finding a reason to bitch about free content? You're perfectly free to not play Portal 2, and continue buying overpriced map packs for other games. He must come from the camp of people that believe that if something doesn't absolutely crush everything else it competes with then it must be a total and utter failure. Anything less than 1st place is alwas an epic "epic fail" to them. Ironically these are people who will most likely never sell a million of anything in their entire lives. |
