So many folksy sayings, so little substance.

Fact of the matter is there were better ways to do it, either via regulation, or having an opt out option that allowed you to keep your existing plan if you were already happy with it.

Though with the amount of lobbying that goes on in DC it's no wonder we got the mess we did that Obamacare is.

That's really 95% of the issue with the US, lobbyist.

NO ONE EVER SAID HE WOULD ENACT NEW GUN LAWS!
ONLY YOU!

Biden never said it - it isn't in that transcript.
Obama never said it - it isn't in that transcript.
RollinThundr said it - because he has no brain cells.

Also, shut up with "guns." He cannot enact ANY laws via EO. But he hasn't signed any EOs that would be laws. He hasn't even done any on guns. Those were EAs. And, if you read them, they're all trite bullshit made to appease morons.

Explain what the comment I can do some of this myself means? Or are you really clueless as to how this president and administration work by now?

I get it, you're obviously going to protect this asshole til the end, sinking ship and all, but at least be a tiny bit genuine, you're not that stupid I don't think.

AAAAHAHAHAHAHA. I've said repeatedly here he is not good. You are just so stupid that, by comparison, he must be the best thing ever. But I say he does something trite and meaningless and somehow calling him trite and meaningless is defending him. Jesus.

Explain what "Explain what the comment I can do some of this myself means?" I have no idea. What are you talking about? Do you mean me saying you should be finding the actual texts yourself? Anything the president says is documented. If you believe he said something, find the transcript. The Constitution, and all the law around it, is documented. If you think something is unconstitutional, find the relevant passage and say why - then look at how courts have interpreted that passage to make sure it fits your interpretation, because the interpretation of the courts is what matters.

You didn't pay much attention to that press conference then. And yes you do defend him, if it walks, acts, and quacks like a liberal, it generally is. The amount you've played the race card in discussions among other liberal stances you've made tells me plenty. Tossing out a minor knock here and there about Obama doesn't change that, and really they're so minor and few and far between, you may as well not bother.

You bitch about dancing around things, yet you do it yourself constantly.

CORPORATIONS & HMO's BAD! GOVERNMENT GOOD! No beamer, your most definitely don't come off as an entitled liberal douche, no, not at all.

HMO's SO HIGH, Obamacare comes out, makes prices even higher, you're ok with it though because MUH BIG GOVERNMENT. Logic and liberals much like oil and water don't mix.

An economy-based, multiplayer experience? Command and Conquer? WTF is wrong with these idiots? Economy-based sounds like an excuse for server-side control and always-online DRM. Why the hell else would you put it into a C&C game?

So... they get lots of feedback and realize the game isn't what people want in a C&C game (as if actually playing the original C&C games wouldn't be enough to know what a C&C game is; personally sick of all the rampant "re-imagining" of great PC game IP), so they just decide not to make a C&C game at all, effectively ignoring all the feedback they did get. Hmmm... EA isn't going to make a new C&C game... I'm fine with that.

The market probably isn't big enough to support the typical C&C title on the PC anymore, at least not for a company like EA who needs every game to sell 5m or else it's a failure. This would be better off in the hands of a mid-tier publisher like Deep Silver who can actually cater to the niche it would demand and still achieve profitability if done correctly. EA just isn't setup to do this sort of game anymore, everything needs to put up BF numbers or be a smartphone game.

Asking you to actually be on topic for a change isn't an adhom.

Oh Redmask, always such a douchebag, don't ever change buddy. Middlefinger

I disagree, look at the numbers Wasteland and Project Eternity brought in, hell look at Star Citizen and that's a very niche fanbase.

If EA were to make another full fledged Wing Commander, actors and all, or another C&C Generals, it would sell fine. There's enough gamers still around that remember those series to support them.

Are you actually dumb enough to think you've accomplished anything like what I asked for? Wait, I already know the answer to that. You posted a link to Rand Paul saying nothing of any substance, and thern followed it up with a link to the press conference where Biden and Obama talked about and signed EAs that were nothing of substance. Where's the unconstitutional part?? Where's your explanation of how any one of those EAs is unconstitutional?? Or are you just gonna keep being the angry feces-hurling monkey?

You asked for the link to where your pal would get it done through EO's. I provided. The unconstitutional part is no EO's in regards to guns can be made without going through the proper channels, which means congress.

United States Presidents issue executive orders to help officers and agencies of the executive branch manage the operations within the federal government itself. They aren't allowed to use EO's to enact law. Hence anything he tries to regulate via EO's in regards to guns is a violation of the 2nd amendment and the US Constitution.

I'd imagine it must make a liberal like you happy to see people's policies getting canceled and or paying more. Selfish entitled douchebags like you and your buddy Obozo seem to get off on people suffering anyway. Not that it's surprising.

You don't even understand what an executive action or executive order are, nor do you know what the proper channels are, nor have you said one thing about why any of those would be the enactment of a law. Which one is a new law? You're just a babbling idiot who can't articulate a single argument against any one of those 23 actions.

You're not getting what I'm saying, if he tries to enact any new gun laws via EA or EO, it's unconstitutional. My guess is this is his plan since there's no way he'd get the votes needed.

Much like Feinstein and her "if I could have gotten the votes Mr and Mrs. America" that too would have been struck down as unconstitutional, Obama's the same brand of gun grabber that she is.

Facts on gun crimes are irreverent to types like that.

I didn't start it with personal attacks as usual, that's generally all you guys. It's why I call you hypocrites, you do the same exact thing that you whine so passionately about. Either grow up and learn to discuss things with people you have differences of opinion with without resorting to ad homs and name calling, or don't engage at all. You're just as guilty.

On topic, I really don't know what EA was thinking to begin with, C&C was always about the cheesy single player cut scenes with B actors, ala Kari Wurher and the like, trying to use a classic license as a F2P model was just a terrible idea from the start.

Much like their Syndicate reboot was a failed FPS. If they would treat their classic IP's with a little respect and give the fanbase of said IP's what they're asking for, they'd be rolling in sales. When you look at their catalog, and how much attention titles like Star Citizen, Wasteland, and the other Kickstarter reboots are getting you'd think it would be a no brainer to their bean counters. Not too sure why that's so hard for EA management to figure out at this point.

EA didn't "acquire" this studio, EA founded this studio. Then they decided it would be good to call this studio "BioWare," even though it had nothing to do with BioWare. Then they renamed it because it had nothing to do with BioWare. Then they closed it.

But it certainly does not belong on the list of studios they bought and closed, because they never bought it. I never got my money's worth from BF3 because of the unlock system and I won't be buying BF4 because of this. Aside from the annoyance of not getting to play with the toys I've paid for, the unlock system affects the balance.

Being worse than everyone else is an occupational hazard when you don't play that game or ones like it very much but to be worse than everyone else and have worse gear and no kill streak bonuses and so on - this adds injury to insult by actively disadvantaging me.

Edit: "Better to complain about it than to do something" - perfect summary of Bluesnews/the Internet/mankind/all living creatures from eRe4s3r

waaah I don't get all the unlocks right off the bat, I can't compete, so damn entitled some of you.

Nothing to do with entitlement, but spin any way you can to cover for your childish attention span. It is a lame way to maintain interest in an otherwise played out franchise. BF1942, didn't need unlocks to keep people interested...it stood on its own. It did not need any of these ADD, grinding gimmicks that today's gamers can't seem to function without. It is catering to the Idiocracy gamer.

ffs dude, it's not that big a deal, get a few kills you unlock something better, bullets are bullets in battlefield, if your aim doesn't suck you shouldn't have any issue getting kills.

More stupidity from a stupid man. They already regulate HMOs and tell them what they can offer, which, really, is the same exact thing. The main thing they're doing is trying to pull profits out of HMOs (which are ridiculously profitable) and reduce costs. Have you ever been to a hospital and seen the bill? Whether you are uninsured or insured with a high deductible, you're on the hook for an amount of money that will basically ruin you. Why? Because HMOs have gamed the system to such a point that hospitals charge $44 for a Tylenol. HMOs have ways around this. Individuals? Not so much.

Interesting that you've gone from whining about "lazy, unemployed" people to old people, though. I'm hoping this means you understand that most that are either uninsured or paying far too much are neither lazy nor unemployed.

But whining about old people doesn't work, either. Old people have Medicare now. What's Medicare? Why, it's a social medicine program wherein young people contribute money and old people receive care!
So you fucking whining about fucking Obamacare being fucking stupid because it fucking makes young people fucking pay for fucking healthcare for fucking old people is fucking moronic because we're fucking doing that today you fucking idiot without the ability to fucking understand the fucking world around him.

Do they make you wear a helmet full time? Do they keep you in a plastic bubble, not due to any health concerns but more so that you do not harm yourself as the world around you confuses and confounds you?

You make me laugh, HMO's WERE TOO MUCH! Let's have the government run it, and make it cost even more. SOLUTION! Just so your bleeding heart can feel better that Shaquanda and her 10 kids gets healthcare now.

Prez, he lied, for 3 years over and over, "you'll be able to keep your old plans, prices will be lower!" straight bold faced fucking lies. Healthcare is a huge part of our economy, putting the government as a middle man has total fail written all over it at least in it's current form.

I'll be the first to admit I would prefer a private industry program to a government one almost 100% of the time since government isn't exactly known for efficiency (And as a goverment employee for 9 years I should know). In the case of healthcare, however, things have been spiraling out of control for years now and nothing was being done to fix the problems - why would any entity even try, when there was nothing in it for them? Which, incidentally, is one major fault of capitalism - only monetary considerations will ever push industries to improve without governemnt "encouragement", which unfortunately it has come to for the health care system. If it ends up that ACA is an unpolishable turd then I'll be right there with you, but only to call for something better.

Didn't you say before you lean conservative? You've been awful lenient on this administration if that's the case.

It depends what we are talking about. If you want to discuss how he has no control of what his cabionet members are up to, like idiot Holder and "Fast and Furious", or his hypocricy on bashing Bush for invading privacy when he was a Senator but then taking the program ten times further as President, then I won't have much good to say. But he has done some good things that even conservatives should acknoweldge were they not so focused on trashing him at every turn. He has been tough on terrorism - Bin Laden is room temperature now thanks to his giving the order. He listened to his generals and effectively pursued the war in Afghanistan to make sure the war was won before winding it down. He ended the Iraq debacle (that I have to admit I was for in the beginning before I woke up). I could name other things but hopefully you get the point.

I don't think there's anything that goes on that he hasn't either authorized or known of to begin with. Obama has all the classic symptoms of a narcissist, the idea he didn't know about Fast and Furious, didn't read the briefs on Benghazi (that goes for Clinton too, she should be ashamed of herself "what difference does it make?")

Tough on terroism? dude he loves the muslim brotherhood, spoke of redefining the 67 Israel borders, etc. If anything he more than likely sides with the damn terrorist. Expanded the patriot act after chastising Bush for it, started conflict in Libya without Congressional approval after chastising Bush for starting wars.

Honestly what has he have to show for himself so far a term and a half in? A broken healthcare plan that will likely fail miserably, 18 Trillion in debt, a refusal to even talk about cutting spending never mind do it.

Oooo he gave the ok to go get Bin Laden, let's praise him like he flew the mission himself and also made the kill shot.

Honestly what does he have to show as accomplishments at this point? I don't see many if any at all.

Yeah, I fail to see how it's socialism at all. People proclaiming that either don't understand socialism or simply do not think deeply about it.

Frankly, our society/economy has a lot of socialist influences. Take the FAA. It doesn't matter if you're John DryGoods in Nebraska who has never been on an airplane or if you're a frequent flier - your taxes go to the FAA. Part of your paycheck in turn pays the air traffic controllers. You have no say in this. A national network is built that communicates with each other, is loaded with government employees, and offers no alternatives.
Does anyone whine about the FAA?

No, because most people that do the "socialism" whining are status quoers (i.e., concepts with socialist bearings are ok so long as they're old, but new ones? God no!), and because some see the benefit of not having two airplanes crash over their house.

I've yet to see someone call frequent fliers "moochers" for getting a benefit everyone is forced to contribute to.

I consider it socialism because the government should not be telling me what type of healthcare I can buy. As a consumer that should be MY choice.

I don't remember anyone proclaiming Obamacare "great"... the best I've heard is that it's an imperfect solution to a huge problem. I am still taking a wait and see approach - the launch disaster is not necessarily indicative of an overall failure of the whole program. Just think of Obamacare as an MMO - huge problems at launch but constantly being worked on.

But seriously, I just don't see it as the end of capitalism or our grand entrance into socialism - people who are covered by it still need to pay for it after all. Also there's nothing saying that it can't be tweaked so as to work better. If you hate the very idea of it that's fine; lot's of people do, but I always wonder what is that hate based on? If it's all the doomsday predictions I've heard about it, all I can say that from what I've seen the doomsayers are almost always wrong, and in the rare instances they are right it's more happenstance than anything - even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Unless it's digital, but I digress...

Expecting 20 somethings to pay for healthcare to support older people when money at that age could go towards better things like paying off loans, getting a car, house, married etc is so stupid an idea in the first place, only democrats could have come up with it.

Prez, he lied, for 3 years over and over, "you'll be able to keep your old plans, prices will be lower!" straight bold faced fucking lies. Healthcare is a huge part of our economy, putting the government as a middle man has total fail written all over it at least in it's current form.

They couldn't even be bothered to test all the integrated parts before a roll out thus it's pretty much been a failure right from the get go.

People losing their coverage because of regulations, people paying more, forcing people to pay for a service they may not need at this point in time.

The idea that this is Obama's legacy makes sense, we can just add it to the long running list of the rest of his failures as POTUS.

I've said it before, any president that makes Jimmy Carter's presidency look good in comparison? Yeah that's a pretty shittastic president.

Tried to play at release. Game would not launch. Spent most of an hour repairing install and downloading an additional 4.5GB of files.

Once I got in, it was fun. Right now it's all about learning the maps. The flood map (Don't know the name except for the server name it is on my map rotation as MP_Flood) is confusing as hell the first time through. The it floods and gets harder to navigate. My LMG seems to be WAY more accurate than in BF3 though, and I am super happy about that. Combine that with a flip up magnifier and I was scoring headshots at a couple hundred meters.

The tablet app is for shit right now. It would never bring up the mini-map, it lags all to hell, and it won't let me launch games from it.

Waiting for my RCon layer to install so I can use Procon for admin stuff.

Actually played a bit of single player last night as well. It's not too bad. Way better than any COD I can remember. Of course, I am only playing it because it unlocks stuff in multiplayer, just like the co-op did in BF3.

I think I played a mission and a half last night before bed, haven't touched the mp yet, that mission and a half was funner than most of the prior COD titles put together imo. Visceral, exciting, the guns feel beefy, great sound effects. AI that can actually hit enemies unlike cod's fodder.

Sure the meat of a BF game is the MP but if the rest of SP plays out like the first couple missions, I'm happy with it. Game is sexy as fuck too.

Tellingly, even the White House, at the end, calls these Executive Orders (but neither Obama nor Biden do.) Because this is a manipulative attempt to make it seem like they're doing more.

They admit they aren't laws, though: These are a few of the 23 executive actions that Iím announcing today. But as important as these steps are, they are in no way a substitute for action from members of Congress. To make a real and lasting difference, Congress, too, must act -- and Congress must act soon. And Iím calling on Congress to pass some very specific proposals right away.

Unlike what Rollin said, there is no mention of an Executive Order. He mentions these are calls for actions, not actions.

It's stupid, pointless PR fluff only an idiot really gets worked up over. Oh, look, there's RT, all worked up...

When you make a comment like "some of these I can do myself" what does that imply? If you honestly think Barack Obama wouldn't try to circumvent the process to get what he wants seeing as though he's proven time and time again anytime he doesn't get what he wants he cries like a little cunt and blames everyone else, then I have some swampland to sell you real cheap.

I thought you said it was something the President said. Now it's Biden? Maybe you need to provide an actual statement with actual context. I have 0 confidence in your ability to do that.

I think Beamer is right. You do little to no thinking of your own, so you're actually incapable of doing the research needed to understand an issue. You just regurgitate crap from others that you don't even understand yourself. You're so ridiculously simple that we all missed it for quite a while, even as you were doing your best to illustrate it for us. It was just hard to believe you're actually that dumb.

OMFG did you watch the press conference with both of them or are you just trolling for effect at this point? holy fucking retarded liberal batman.

Stop being an asshole AND POST A LINK TO EITHER THE FUCKING PRESS CONFERENCE OR A TRANSCRIPT OF IT!

Jesus fucking christ. How many times must we tell you this: if you're going to say something as a "fact" SUBSTANTIATE IT WITH A GODDAMN LINK TO A GODDAMN SOURCE.

You've proven time and time again that you never know what you're talking about and constantly mention things that are either untrue or taken so far out of context that they're still basically a lie.

You're making these claims, it's your job to substantiate them.

Expected response from the inept, tiny-brained maggot: either silence or "but Benghazi!"

Here you go sweetheart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTISOBhNCQU

It's been linked in this thread more than once, go find it. I'm done providing you reasons to be distrustful of Obozo if you can't take the 5 minutes to even look. Kids on the stage, Biden opens then hands it off to the dictator in chief, unconstiutional comments ensue from there.

I feel a lot more tired of modern shooters than I ever did of WW2 ones, although that may be because of the way they're made rather than their setting (or because I'm getting old but I'd rather not focus on that).
