If VR had a FPS then Metro would be an amazing thing. I tremble at the thought of the system requirements though.
VR doesn't work well with any game that requires navigation. So if it is a VR shooter, it's probably going to be a shooting gallery/rail shooter rather than a proper FPS.
I was going to ask, have any games got movement sorted? The teleport/blink system doesn't look suitable for a serious FPS. I don't see a roomspace system that would work, which is good for me as I hope VR doesn't become dependant on that.
Does gamepad/KB&M for body movement and VR for head (and maybe arm) movement cause motion sickness?

That has to be the worst listing I've ever seen for any sale much less a Summer Sale. Unless I missed it, there doesn't seem to be a page where all the sales are listed. You have to choose 6 to 8 different categories then each has multiple pages, not to mention most of the deals are crappy.

You're clueless. This is a massive effort. They have to stand up tons of new infrastructure to handle the influx of thousands of players downloading petabytes of data. They have to build out a bulletproof system that will allow players to temporarily create accounts that can access this functionality, but expire a few days later. It has to be designed, built, tested, & deployed. It must be secure (because free accounts), etc. It's a crapton of work to set these up. And that just delays the game.
And Chris himself has said, they have all the money they need to finish the game.

Ew. It's using a single 1080p screen. Screen door ahoy. When the Rift was on a single 1080p screen it wasn't too enjoyable.
But we did always expect the PSVR to be the budget product.

It's usually people who haven't actually worn one.
I find my DK2 pretty comfortable, even when I used it for hours on end when I first got it.
And you know those earlier models are going to be bulkier than what the future has in store.
