... can it be? Is this a Steam top 10 list, WITHOUT Skyrim !?

Impossible! However, if this is accurate, then mwahahaha, soon Skyrim will drop in price! *more fiendish laughter, adjustment of monocle*

Damn! You have a lot more patience than I do! Love the soundtrack, but the gameplay got the better of me. I'll still grab the second, however.

I don't think it was patience so much as rage at getting killed like 900 times when I was SOO close to finishing a given level. I refused to be beaten by a retro 80s game. My eyeballs suffered. Ah, fueled by rage, just like Battletoads(NES).

I had put off buying Hotline Miami for so long but when I finally gave in and bought it on sale, I played through the entire game in one sitting.

One tense, marathon, sitting, but one sitting.

Definitely buying the sequel, preferably via gog.com or some other non-Steam service, for that matter.

Pretty impressive engine, but wtf, the Battlefield target audience is NOT overly interested in the single player portion of the game. Show major improvements in MULTIPLAYER to convince me to buy this game instead of just playing more BF3.

I base that off of zero statistical evidence of course, it's the internet.

FFS, I keep saying it in most of the Steam top 10 threads, but seriously, *all of humanity*, stop buying Skyrim so the price continues dropping.

I am definitely going to try this, but from earlier previews I recall you will not have access to all the heroes without paying and/or grinding, or something. Still, action RPG with the marvel universe, it's required for me to at least TEST it.

News Comments > Magicka: Wizard Wars Announced
3. Re: Magicka: Wizard Announced Mar 25, 2013, 22:19 MoreLuckThanSkill

Ah, Magicka. How awesome a game you sort of are. Great art and sound, nice combos, but a tendency to destroy coop groups utterly. Of the six people I started out with playing this when it was new, they've all uninstalled. Mostly due to the combo system, but some due to the horrendous bugs early on.(Falling through the world, etc.)

I liked this live action GoT spoof trailer, but pvp in this game will probably be more of a hassle than any real lasting, fun experience.

As much as anybody might dislike Richard Garriott, it's hard to disagree with his opinion of developers based on the crap getting churned out these days.

Although the argument might be made that some of the problem is the amount of money put into and expected out of AAA titles leads to 'streamlined' game design decisions to appeal to larger audiences...

End result, bucketloads of weak games.

Kronos (Cronus) the Titan, father of Zeus. Some dead Greek claims prior art, case dismissed.

This is not uncommon in corporate America or the rest of the world. The real question is, how large of a golden parachute is he going to get? I would assume it'll be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Whoever ultimately replaces him will be just as eager to 'monetize' everything EA makes at the expense of customers.

Ah, Kickstarter. For every good project, there seem to be 10 of these pyramid scheme wannabes cropping up. A mobile phone version of Homeworld? Heresy!

Holy shit, that looks amazing. It also looks like it will turn my current comp into a molten puddle, but what else is new.

I like the multiple digs towards BF3 also, hehe.

Hrm, I had not been paying much attention to this Sim City game... who the hell thought it was such a great idea to have always online?

Also, why the HELL did so many people buy this game if it has always online drm?

On the plus side, sounds like a lot of customers are getting a rough experience with said DRM, hopefully this will help in the long run.

On the one hand, I hope this game turns out great. On the other hand, DAMMIT people, stop funding Kickstarters so quickly!

These jokers had best deliver on their promised games... nostalgia based Kickstarter campaigns are starting to get out of hand. Although apparently I am the only person who has that opinion.

I wouldn’t call increasing mod density a good thing, more like a step backwards. Inferno mode is hard enough with the mobs as they are now. And increasing the density even more just makes me feel like they still don’t get it.

Well, Inferno at MP0-1 is pretty easy currently(or it was 2 months ago), far easier than 1.01-1.03, and one of the major problems with D3(in my opinion) is that the only places to efficiently farm were in Act 3. That's partly why I had to take a break, I simply could not tolerate another Act 3 run. Huge empty spaces, in Act 1 and 4 especially, actually filled with creatures now? Excellent news. Between the Monster Power system and added creatures in non-Act 3 acts, D3 may actually have some longevity, if they also start fixing the ridiculous item discrepancies.

For the record, no RMAH use, no GAH use other than foolishly buying crafting mats in like 1.01 or so, and some cheap blacksmith plans in 1.07. All 5 Classes with Inferno cleared, in mostly crappy gear. Trading a few items between friends only.

*EDIT* typo.

Wow, they are finally going to adjust the mob density outside of Act 3, after 10 months or whatever? Also, non class stats on class specific items... wow finally.

Still, I'm on to PoE and TL2 currently, I'll check back on D3 in a couple months perhaps.

I put an untold number of hours into CS and CS:S back in the day, I'll probably try this at some point. Cars could be cool, attack dogs are lame, but hopefully this game turns out alright.

I guess I need to get around to finishing The Witcher 1 and 2.

So continues the widespread conspiracy to prevent Skyrim from ever dropping in base price down to the 10 dollar range. Congratulations, your evil plot has succeeded!

Hopefully a few of you are still staying true to the bargain mentality, and waiting for the GotY version of Skyrim to hit about 10-20 bucks.

It's gone way past what's worthwhile based on gameplay, we're on to principle here.

It's strange, the site says "old school top view" but the concept art is all isometric. I wonder if it's just bad English, and it really is isometric. These guys are European maybe, and English is their 2nd language? I see the log in button is misspelled "SINGUP" lending credence to my theory.

What, are you against music or something?

They have forums, and it looks like they barely have any traffic. Now is the time for you to do these Russians a favor and kindly advise them of their spelling error.
