And this is from someone who considers Syndicate to be his 3rd greatest game of all time, only behind Arena: The Elder Scrolls and Ultima 7. I wouldn't say shit, but yeah, definitely much worse than the original. |

MOAR
Make it bigger, better, more varied and please don't bring the FC3 style crafting to the game just because.
I'm actively trying to play sci-fi games right now just so I can play the FC3BD soundtrack as a replacement soundtrack. It's just so amazing.

| Google has nothing to do with the issue. The author of that article is just ignorant. It's all up to OEMs and carriers. Google has no part in it. |

Not Fallout? That's good news. Bethesda needs to stay far as hell away from Fallout. One complete disaster was quite enough.
Three Dog: I fight the Good Fight with my voice here on Galaxy News Radio. Lone Wanderer: [Intelligence] So you fight the Good Fight with your voice on Galaxy News Radio, right? This is what Bethesda thinks qualifies as intelligence. |

And I tend to poke along and explore everywhere... Well, maybe if you want to collect every single collectible item you might come close to that, I never count such things as gameplay time, otherwise I'd say maybe 5 hours just doing every mission normally. Way shorter than that if you only care about the main story line.

Less grinding and arbitrary white walls wouldn't hurt either. You don't need to grind in any Souls games, I thought the level design was quite clever and the UI is minimal for a reason. The lock on thing I can see upsetting people, didn't bug me personally as I prefer to dodge/roll but to each his own. What you "need" is irrelevant. If you don't know the game by heart you will die a lot, making enemies respawn. You will need to switch bonfires, making enemies respawn. You will need to level up, making enemies respawn, etc, etc. There is definitely grinding in the game. That it can be mostly negated by having played the game a ton of times before is irrelevant. |

This game is awesome, funny, and has amazing music. Some bullet points:
It's only a couple hours long, even with doing everything there is to do. Almost the entire game takes place on one map. Short main quest. Main bulk of gameplay instead comes from driving around and capturing ~15 or so bases on the map from the enemy cyborgs. You can get the blood dragon creatures to help you with this, if one is close by, by throwing in cyber hearts in to the base. These are looted from enemy cyborgs and attract dragons which will make them attack the base with eye lasers, or you can simply bring down the shields of the base and they will run in and ravage it. These bases, when captured, have mission terminals where you can get 1-2 different missions per base. There are only 2 different mission types for these missions. Hostage rescues which are focused on stealth, and kill x using y. Each mission unlocks a weapon attachment, that can then be bought at a vendor terminal, and gives you some cash and xp. Some attachments require completing achievements. Weapons include pistol, assault rifle, sniper rifle, minigun, flamer and a bow, plus explosives and your offhand cyber knife for silent takedowns. Leveling gives you extra health and some other stuff you have no control over. Instead of regenerating health you heal yourself. You can't sprint or shoot while doing this. You can do this repeatedly and endlessly. It returns about 3 health boxes, so when you're higher level and have 10+ boxes it can take a while. Medpacks also exist but they are of limited supply, unless you buy them constantly at a terminal, but heal you fully in one go. |

It might have applied to whatever corporate slave country you lived in at the time, or you might have been brainwashed after the fact to believe so, but it's not a universal truth.

I'm totally excited about steam workshop support (love it!), but I guess I'm not seeing how this locks people out? Nothing is definitive. It could, but hopefully it doesn't. Also depends on how they'll do with the non-content patches, if any, for the DRM-free version. |

| It's a damn shame that mods will only be available through Steam, but I'm really looking forward to the game regardless. Hopefully some kind of hack will be developed to make it possible without Steam. |

As a long time RPG fan I don't really know about this one. I've watched all the videos and it all just looks too generic for me, and as far as I'm concerned Larian has never made a good RPG before. Only hack n slash games with questionable combat.
Mod tools are not a selling point for me to back something as it will take quite a long time for decent content mods to pop up, and with it already being funded, there's even less incentive to care right now. I'll just buy it later if and when there are actually good mods out. |

| It looks ok I guess, but I really don't see why anyone would back a F2P game (just look at the horror that is MWO), much less a F2P MMO from an unknown developer/IP. |

Apparently, these self conscious supposedly cisgendered males and females specifying cisgendered all the time automatically give themselves the illusion of being intelligent and having valid points.
Do these people also use the term cisgendered when describing other animals I wonder? |

Sadly the megatextures made too many problems on low end systems while at the same time killing off possible mods, but with the right system RAGE looks absolutely beautiful and the characters are the best since Bloodlines, which includes everything RPG from Bethesda! Could not agree more. RAGE is a masterpiece, the gunplay is second to none. The characters are so under rated. Brilliant sarcasm. *applause*

Guess that's it for id then. They literally can't make a good game to save their lives.
Though when I think about it, to me they died a long time ago.

| First it was P2W and consumables, then it was third person view and now it's this. They always invent new ways to piss off the community and alienate their fan base. This game is doomed to fail with management like that. Will just have to wait another 14 years for a Mechwarrior game that doesn't suck. |
