"Facebook set to launch 'Gmail killer' email system."

I'm sure of it - because it's going to "kill" all remaining traces of privacy on facebook.

Thing is.. I'm very doubtful it'll be money well spent. Especially on Gothic 4. But this or that, they can't be any more crap than the other junk that's been released lately (Amnesia aside, that game was godlike).

it's going to be the usual bugfest with G4... might not be a bad idea to wait for a couple reviews and see how bad it actually is

That said, I'd NEVER preorder a game, being a bit patient saved me a lot of cash...

much less of a PITA than Ubisoft's DRM and no reason for not buying the game. Hopefully the system requirements will end up less crazy than announced previously. Will keep an eye on this one....

I've read the manual and I admit I'm not impressed. I was expecting something new... it feels like in Civ 5 you're getting Civ1/2 with fancy year-2010 gfx and a couple of "enhancements" or modifications. As much as I loved playing the original Civ ~20 years ago, I just can't get excited about those repeatedly warmed-up incarnations of Civ that bring nothing new to the table. Just my 5 cents.

make HL3 a good game and you don't have to worry about all the piracy BS anyway. Simple as that....

Borderlands is the best FPS in a long time imo. You can easily reach Level 61 on the 2nd playthrough but I doubt it's possible to crack Crawmerax in a singleplayer game w/o cheating. Can't wait for the raised level cap/new DLC. I'm Playing F.E.A.R. 2 in the meantime

This game looks pretty bad actually...

I disagree. It looks pretty darn good IMO. And I would buy it even if it didn't, because of a couple of reasons:

1) despite all the console garbage that's constantly being pumped out in the year of 2010, Stardock's top priority platform is the PC.
2) Stardock's DRM is either non-existent or mild enough not to annoy the customer.
3) They have a lot of experience with turn-based titles, so even if their game didn't look nice there's still a great chance it would play nice.

to me Steam is an acceptable form of DRM whereas Ubisoft's own version is absolutely, totally, abyssmally unacceptable.
