Blizzard has used up all of its good will with me. I hardly would care if they went under tomorrow. They are dead to me regardless.

This is why I hope that Kickstarter and similar approaches will eventually triumph over this DRM madness.

As impotence became known as Erectile Dysfunction, ED will now be known as Error 37.

When the time is right...you don't have to worry about Error 37. Ask your doctor for more information.

*Warning: If you manage to get a connection that lasts more than 4 hours seek immediate medical attention.

At least we both (and many others) can have tons of fun while the internet gets shitloaded with crap like "Error 37" and the endless discussions about it.

I would have bought it but my internet connection regularly drops out certain times of day and would just piss me off to not be able to play a friggin' single player game. And, no, my internet will never be more reliable since I live on a military base and it's all I have, even though it is free.

Frankly, it's none of Blizzard's fucking business how good, bad, slow, fast, reliable, unreliable, existent or non-existent your internet connection is. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

It's going to be "hell" trying to play this game the first few weeks.

just read the joys of server lag and auto-disconnects over on rockpapershotgun.

So just play singleplayer.

Single-player requires a log-in and constant online connection just like multiplayer. If you lose your connection, you get booted out of the game (and will likely lose progress) even if you're playing single-player. It's basically the same as UbiDRM, only most people are ignoring that fact because it's Diablo 3.

Fixed. I'm not. Never will. No matter what.

I don't doubt that at all considering hundreds of millions of people are dumb enough to upload their personal information to FB - willingly and for free.

"and why they will not incorporate an 'offline mode."

Really? Because all I got from this interview was the same bullshit they've been feeding us before?

yep, Blizzard has changed a lot since the original Diablo. Bullshit-feeding has become one of their strengths and tons of brainwashed people will buy their corporate-greed game, just because of its sounding name. And they will spam forums for not being able to play the game and all kinds of DRM-related issues.
The good thing is, despite Blizzard refusing to add an offline mode, others WILL make offline modes for this game.

Wow, why on earth does anyone use AT&t?!

because they have one of the best networks/coverage in the U.S.
because they have the best data coverage in the U.S.
because they used to be the only carrier to offer the iPhone and plenty of people are still locked in a contract.
because their network can handle stress better than their competitors.

The list goes on...

I do have an iPhone and although I don't particularly like AT&T they have the best overall coverage here. And all their competitors suck. I've once tried Sprint when they had their "simply everything" plan but their data speeds are abysmal to a point where "simply everything takes forever". People are using AT&T because there are no better alternatives.

shit like "Coming this summer to Xbox 360 ONLY, not to your PC you stupid idiot" only strengthens my argument "coming to my PC sometime for $5 ONLY, and not one cent more".

... glad to be a patient guy.

Nice debut for TL2, especially since it's just a preorder. I'm sure it's low price isn't hurting it any, either.

yep, and I'm among those who have not preordered but will buy the game anyway. I'm so glad TL2 is there to compensate for the corporate greed D3 DRM disaster.

The fact that this game even won't install on a lot of systems + online DRM = epic fail IMO. I find the hypocrisy disgusting for all you people who curse Ubisoft with one side of your face but are going to support ActiBlizz with the other.

I agree wholeheartedly. Besides I'd like to know how many people bitch about the DRM until the cows come home, and, once the cows are home, buy the game as if nothing happened.

I've always wondered what made them decide to add some shitty 3d-RTS to an otherwise great turn-based game. How about keeping the turn-based top-view gameplay on the planet surface but with different features/scenarios?!?

People who want a turn-based game will most likely get turned off by 3d-RTS (and vice versa)...

nice, but not my cup of tea. And I agree with Cutter, $25 minimum if you want the game is a bit too much considering all the cash goes to the developers.

I wonder if Sword of the Stars 2 works yet. Regardless, I expect this once-promising series is now effectively dead after the release disaster that surely killed any hope of sales good enough to ensure a sequel.

Sad but true. I wouldn't buy this game, not even now. It seems broken beyond repair. I might get the Dungeons of Dredmor pack though- a cup of coffee at Starbucks is more than $3.75.
