it also comes down to what you allow to influence your thinking, and how conscious you are of all the attempts to do so. the laws will always be under threat from this bullshit. the more people pay attention to the real issues the more chances we have for real change. velvet doesn't have to revolve in just one place you know, it just takes enough people to reject abuse, and injustice of themselves or anyone around them, moreover not to take part in it, or be compliant which is the main issue imo.
if this bill passes, pre-sopa internet freedoms will resemble pre-911 personal freedoms. the internet is the most important way people are sifting through, dissecting, and side-stepping all the trash and shit coming out of the corporate control layer, they know it too. |

you will after your tv breaks at the designed point of obsoletion. ppl are already using 2560x1600, or in the case of having 3 monitors 5760x1200. i know you like meat and potatoes, but alot of ppl like change for the better and not just "what was good for muh pah is good fer me and everyone else" mentality. get some glasses jebidiah 1080p is bunk if you sit close enough your screen is mimicking an actual theatre aspect ratio, and relative viewing size.

so far this is the only display i've seen which has a chance at producing a convincing, non-irritating 3d experience at home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZCYKk_ZxkY
only because it draws a seperate image for each eye, and each image is isolated so that the left eye only sees the left image and vice versa. sony is meh, but i've love to see more dlp displays or oled like this

Fast Five is 'top pirated film of 2011'. Which confirms the old adage, "just because you CAN do something....doesn't mean you SHOULD". the only thing it confirms is that piracy has become so simple, even mouth breathing retards can be successful at it. |

The question is "why" not "what." To join Dades, and answer "why" with "what"... Because it's got an incredibly FUGLY interface... as does Windows 8's Start Screen / Metro Apps. Critics mostly disagree. Have you seen it in action?
Is this really considered "not fugly?" Best selling phone on Amazon. Ugly as hell interface in pictures. A mindless muddle of colors and images with no coherence and tons of dead space where you'd expect functionality. critics are mostly industry shills. |

I looked at Audio Technica's and Sennheisers, I didn't like any of them and had clanmates who swore by their G930's. You, and him, can talk down about them all you want. But the fact of the matter is, it has nothing to do with "buzzwords". The surround works great, especially in games like BF3 and CS, where knowing where shit is coming from is a priority. And they sound amazing. So be a hater all you want. man i wouldn't worry! you're clearly not in the demographic for high end equipment, you're in the demographic for high end marketing and plastic bits matched with bloated software that allows you to have no conscious thought about it's quality or operation. infact you'd prol really dig the game this thread is supposed to be about. |

i think the bill hicks solution would work here... and many other places imo. i just can't get enough of this guy.
"By the way, if anyone here is in marketing or advertising...kill yourself. Thank you. Just planting seeds, planting seeds is all I'm doing. No joke here, really. Seriously, kill yourself, you have no rationalisation for what you do, you are Satan's little helpers. Kill yourself, kill yourself, kill yourself now. Now, back to the show. Seriously, I know the marketing people: 'There's gonna be a joke comin' up.' There's no fuckin' joke. Suck a tail pipe, hang yourself...borrow a pistol from an NRA buddy, do something...rid the world of your evil fuckin' presence."

thats because we're not as much "people" as corporations are now. they are given the rights of people, and they're much more "people" than any one of us can ever be, so they have mass priority over a person, who can only be as much "people" as one person. this is all legally speaking of course. |

k codemasters here's what you do, put the GRID code in the dumpster, hop in the Williams FW31 in iracing, drive that at Silverstone grand prix config, then Spa-francorchamps classic pits config. this is how an f1 car should drive. even if your dev's have hopped in real f1 cars clearly they're not getting the information from their hands and feet into the code of any of your f1 games. laggy driving/steering, overblown FFB effects, a bunch of shiny pretty fluff. thats all they amount to. hell even in iracing you can turn on steering assist, abs and traction assist for noobs/regular gamers, why do you have to make the whole game for automatic transmission driving puffcakes?

the gameplay is fantastic in this game, once you learn the ins and outs. the upgrade paths and tech tree's are interesting enough, and the historical background is cool to read up on too, if you're into tank i guess, if not you won't get too much out of it probably.
haven't played 7.0 yet, but will be hopping in within the next few days to get reacquainted. alot less BS in the games and players than any fps MP games i can think of either. |

women and men are generally equipped with different skills, weaknesses, and tastes. why wouldn't there be some differences that take shape similarily in society? simple question... do women actually want to see Hairy S. Manballs in the buff everywhere? probably not, so stop harping on the people that enjoy female less-hairy equivalent.
you know the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you, may not be right for some...... so go slap some polyglass tires on your wife's car and lets call it a day. |
