Does this still come with StarForce DRM? No way I am using that on my machines again. I looked at the original Black Shark and A10 Warthog on Steam, but even the Steam version has StarForce. |

You can't legally profit from someone else's property in court unless you're acting on their behalf, and you have to show that a certain percentage gets back to the copyright holder. Of course the problem there is that the record labels are the copyright holders, not the artists. The artist still gets $0. |

I don't know if it's the same in the US, but in the UK the financial year ends 31 March, and that's when bonuses are paid.
If it's the same in the US, Activision have 2 weeks to make their devs want to stay. |

I received Bioshock through the post the day after release and found a nocd crack straight away. All putting this crap into games does is push up the price and annoy anyone that doesn't know how to bypass it. DRM is probably responsible for more PC game returns than all the bugs in the world combined. As for Starforce, don't get me started. That PoS locked me out from burning my holiday photos to CD. Anyone using it deserves to go bankrupt. |

Pity they didn't do this with Far Cry 2. I actually wanted to buy that game but didn't because of the DRM.
Now I won't buy PoP because its it doesn't interest me and the lack of a sale will be blamed on piracy.
BTW, PC Gamer magazine UK scored this 49%. Could this be a way of blaming poor sales of a sucky game on the lack of DRM? |
