By saying "it's a bit of a simplification" I was referring to your analogy between suicide bombers and the Hiroshima bombing, I don't think comparing between WWII and the current terror acts is relevant on any level.
I am very happy you found a game that suits your taste, but that doesn't mean you can ignore what it stands for.
Hyatus, I am really sorry you feel that way - but pretending such views does not exist is not something I can do, as you might have noticed, I am not the one who started this debate.

The suicide game is similar to a game about dropping an Hydrogen bomb on Japan. Killing civilians, that's bad right?
That's a bit of a simplification , don't you think?

Seeing that people are keeling each other all the time, with conventional weapons, no matter what nationality they have, but only a small group is using the suicide bombing method, I'd say that almost all of the other games don't kill "arabs" but some sort of an "enemy" (in Max Payne , for example, you kill americans, in SWAT 3, you kill almost every nationality on the face of the earth... )
So I fail to see the argument. If there was a game where you kill innocent Arabs I think it should be condemned as this game is.

but as of this writing the top commented threads are ~83% OOTB-related...
Had the same thought earlier today ( I am not from your side of the world, so "earlier today" is equivalent to your 2am or something...)
It is probably both things... one of the OOTB had a completely non-related thread about what games can one play this days...

And Blue doesn't wear a T shirt in the picture... so this whole "T-Shirt" hinting business is not to the point...

The problem you pose is so easy to solve its absurd :-)
Simply run the simulating computer on the moon.
anyway, I got thinking about HHGTTG ... maybe we'll get to know what is the question.... (yes, I know *this* computer is only a weather machine...)

Thats odd cuz i was getting 25+ on my voodoo2/333 mhz/65mb ram.
Are we talking about the same test? the one with the weird fog thing? It didn't move on my machine (but I ran it on 586/90mhz back then)

.. I didn't have a modem back then, so I didn't know about that... so this makes at least 3 times that had happened, hmm...

It seems that no one recalls, but a very early version of the quake 3 tests leaked also....
It was the same thing, Carmack said it was only "hardware tests" or something, it ran in 3 FPS on a voodoo3.
This is starting to look like an M.O. more than a "random act of an employee"...

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but there are other causes for a headache, overworking is only one...
blue, please check that:
1. your monitor is less than 3 years old (if its CRT)
2. you don't have some sort of caffeine addiction - this is actually a main cause for headaches, if you are trying to stop the habit
3. you drink (non alcoholic) enough
4. you haven't eaten anything you might be allergic too
5. you have no allergies
6. your eye site is fine
.. See? there are many other explanations...
but I do think blue need some rest (and don't go to MrsBlue's parents! take a vacation somewhere)... Hell, what wouldn't one do to take over a web site...

on another note - you have this great messaging system, why don't you make a forum for news, a forum in which no one can actually review other posts, but only the subjects.
This way people will not post the same story million of times, and you will have the same system controling everything.
