Hi, I need some advise, didn't get any a few days ago, maybe it was because I posted too late,
I know blue is from around NYC and I wanted some advice - my spouse is going to work at the hospital of joint disease (HJD) at 14th and 2nd in Manhattan, and we need somewhere to live; so what are your thoughts? we are looking for something cheap with less than 30 minutes commuting there, would Brooklyn heights be better than Hoboken, for example?
Anyway, I am looking for a job as well, so if you have any leads in the NYC area :-)

mark my words:
1. using CUDA for this could have been done by an open source project, no need to buy ageia
2. a dedicated PPU will always be better than CUDA
3. we haven't seen the end of this

I've been following this technology for some time (~8 years now) and I can tell you DrEvil is right. back then, using a 1Ghz AMD CPU I could barely put more than 50 objects on the screen. the primitives were the only thing you could use (spheres,cubes,etc.) if you wanted to get any sane performance. Even now, download and play warmonger without a PPU and see if your state of the art machine can pull it off all the way through - and we are talking about novodex here, one of the best and fastest SDK around for a while now.
Consider this: when 3dfx started most of the 3d was on the CPU and it was said that no one needs GPUs to do more than send graphics at high resolutions (remember CGA?) to the screen.. the CPU will do all the rest. 3dfx proved them wrong and other followed suit. I think PPUs will go through the same path.

What the hell is going on? is this handled by 8 year olds?? How is it no one remembers the *other* time companies you can replicate using PHP were sold for this much money ???
What is their barrier of entrance? knowing html? are you kidding me? MS is the only company in the world stupid enough to buy such a thing ("look ma! we bought another toy!!")..
This is somewhere in the middle of the end , not even the start of one.. the stock market is going down, everything is in red and you want to spend an amount which can reduce the subprime issue to nil on Yahoo! ????

I like all of the pictures, isn't Hudson spider-dog in the first one? why would super-dog have spider man's symbol?

No!! Noooo!! You can't say something good about this game!! everybody else hate it here, you just can't come in here and speak highly about something we all dislike.
I bought the game, I enjoy the game and I wish the damned Israeli servers will start working
Someone is DDOSing Israel for the last couple of weeks (you'd thought they would shut down those ip addresses by now..)
