This is what is wrong with capitalism today.
You just wanted to say that.. didn't you?
Intel reasoning is pretty clear: its an idea they think will make money. that's all. but if you want to look at it from a benefit perspective, why stay with an old technology (CPUs) where everyone else moved on to the next thing? they have the money.. they need to invest in the next hit.

down here in brooklyn the only wild life we see are squirrels, the ugly possums
The possums don't make it over the river, here in manhattan we got rats, big, hairy, rats..

Wow, I'm so happy I didn't buy the first one for the original asking price. No editor, no new levels. just a new game, which will probably cost 20$ and again, be without all the added stuff and <faul language> us all again.
Should have bought it for 4$... |

Hey,
The thing that the guy says at the beginning is "happy holiday" - which refers to Purim. Purim is a holiday not unlike Halloween and dressing up and making fun (getting drunk) is part of it.. |

Face it, we don't know what happened, and if the bonuses will be paid then w&z has nothing to complain about, which means that kotick may have something here. *If*, and that is a big if, they shopped the idea around while on activision payroll and activision owned the rights to the games I don't see how that wouldn't be insubordination in any organization, and public vs. private has nothing to do with it.
Now, the developers and stuff members who went with w&z were probably caught in by the whole community propaganda and big brother nonsense. so what do you do? continue working for the man or going to build something for yourself's future? in the long term, it sounds better to startup something right?
Anyway, time will tell, this whole thing was not handled very good from activision's perspective. Not good at all. |

| Donno if they will go the wine direction but they did say the orange box is going to be ported to mac, and portal 2 will be on mac, so there is a chance and we should be waiting |
