Well I'll keep an eye on this but not exactly gonna be chomping at the bit. BC2 giving me tons of entertainment, and hopefully we'll start to see news of BF3 cropping up soon now that BC2 is entrenched.

Sometimes DICE have weird priorities. With loud reports of glaring balance issues and various bugs, they will find something completely irrelevant that no one cares about then fix that. And claim it as a victory.

They've made some pretty good games though and given me countless hours of entertainment so this isn't a slating, just an observation that they can be... odd.

They should hire the corporate goons that Activision sent to the IW offices to face off against the goons sent to lock the doors. Then upload a video of the fight and clean up from the google ads.

But the core of the game is fun, at least for now.

Well looking good and glad they're taking the time to communicate still, if intermittently.

My main gripe though:

No ping displayed - This is caused by Windows admin privileges. To view ping in the server browser run BFBC2.exe with administrator privileges.

No. This is caused by your inability to understand the idea that new games shouldn't have to run with admin privileges. That's the whole idea. This is a workaround until you fix your shit.

Anyone know where there are some vids showing "normal" gameplay/economy? All I can remember seeing is the endgame/experimentals/story being highlighted and that's just window dressing.

I want to know if this is a game I want to play or not, has it been console'd into irrelevance? Or is there something still there for the people who want something a bit deeper and a bit more complex? Because if there is, no one seems to be showing it.

I hope things work out well. I still have not had any concerns regarding supcom2 convincingly dispelled yet, but CT's work has given me tons of entertainment in the past and for this I'm grateful.

Medieval setting is not really my thing, but there's def a market for it so maybe this will be the way to go.
