The problem is that the game as originally premised promised a really innovative game that offered huge variety and depth of gameplay. That's exactly the problem. People keep saying things like "if you take the game for what it is...". Why should we do that? I'm taking the game for what they said it would be. They didn't deliver. On top of that they throw in the BS DRM scheme? What a joke. They can keep their game. |

Apparently the concepts of "optional" and "voluntary" are foreign to some. If the options offered, whatever they are, aren't what you're wanting then don't buy it. Oh well now that you put out that way, I'll guess I'm choosing the "option" of not buying it...

- Quboid The funny thing is, that's just the opening sequence. If we can't get through the opening sequence without hearing five corny, cliche' sayings, what's the other fifteen minutes of the game going to be like? Still, looking forward to this one.

I talked to this dude who went to their offices and was allowed to play the final version of the code. He said he was able to finish the game in 15 minutes by driving his jeep around the game world until he just happened to run into the Jackal, at which point he killed him. Fifteen minutes of game play? That fucking sucks.
Yeah but why would you do that when it looks like so much fun to go through the entire game world and blow everything up?
I'll probably take a pass on this game since I don't have the hardware to run it.
The point isn't whether you *would* do it, the point is that you *could*.
