Oh my track record is pretty damn solid, I can't call them all - but I do call them unlike you sideline commentators. I was proved right about PoE and you surely weren't -- that's good enough for me.

Actually I find your small track record so far pretty dubious. 3 predictions, 2 of them not working out so well (Wii U and Ouya), one of them questionable considering its competitors successes and its relatively niche status. Simple binary choices about platforms are kind of silly anyway, a 50/50 prediction win or loss isn't very impressive either way. But if you want to brag about your "wins" then you should own up to your "failures" too, particularly when you criticize other forum posters about theirs.

I like how you throw out random unqualified insults like your post here that has no bearing on Mine and Nin's differences. I doubt you earned any nin or blues brownie points like you hoped...

I don't even interact with nin or Blue outside of the odd forum message. Also you made a post that was dedicated to insulting another member so you can't really get upset when you receive the same in return, not that my post was even insulting in nature. I was just pointing out the inherent flaw in your post.

So much for your ability to understand posts - I never stated anything even remotely like that.

Hmm, that's funny because you said:

Not that I care what you think -- the writing is on the wall here and I have better things to do than read constant negativity from the same no-lifes. BN may hold some nostalgia factor for being old-school like voodooextreme was, but that's about it.

I guess you don't have anything better to do after all

Ouya is a dead platform, nice idea, horrible execution. Pretty much everyone poo poos pretty much everything - especially here.Pretty much everyone poo poos pretty much everything - especially here

In the case of the Ouya it was totally justified, they promised the moon and delivered a block of cheese. Which most rational people were able to see because they weren't so caught up in their emotions about a platform

Since NIN has proven himself to be entirely wrong about games more often than not, I'd run from his "serious" opinions...

Your track record with games isn't very good so we should discount what you say too then I guess

So much for you leaving and never coming back haha.

Ouya is a dead platform, nice idea, horrible execution. Pretty much everyone called it.

Oh and thanks again Prez for gifting me Far Cry 3, that was an insanely cool Christmas thing and I really appreciated it. Don't rush to buy this, who knows maybe you'll get it as a gift this year!

My niece will be 12 in August and has been lobbying my sister and her husband for a phone for a long time already. Basically, she is one of the few kids in her class that doesn't have one. But she does have other electronic devices including a Kindle and her own computer -- which sits in the same space as her parent's computers. But she also does ballet, soccer and softball (although I think ballet may have displaced softball). It is definitely a parenting thing.. you need to get them doing something other than looking at a monitor of some kind.

Yeah we've got her in some sports but we're trying not to overschedule her like we see other parents doing. I'm just worried she'll turn into a zombie like her cousins but I guess we'll just try to be better parents than theirs were. I worry though man, I see kids head down in the phone walking into traffic and other stupid shit like that almost every day. Change is fine but I wonder if being so disengaged socially and lacking that personal component that you only get face to face is really a good thing for people.

Depression top cause of illness in world's teens, WHO reports.

If you want to really see depression in teens, take away their electronic gadgets. I'm a gadget guy but man I'm amazed and disturbed by how utterly helpless teens are without their phone. My girlfriends nieces got grounded for something and they basically sat catatonic and empty eyed through an entire family trip. Its almost like a twitch or something, they kept making the motion like they were going to check their phones.

It's going to be interesting when our daughter reaches the early teens, I think I'll make her buy and pay for it herself along with the monthly fees to hopefully forestall the addiction as long as possible.

True, but this game particularly has a bunch of people that really hate it, and a strong core of people who really love it. That kind of polarization is unusual. For example, you don't see people who say "I LOVE Rage!" or "I ADORE Duke Nukem Forever!"

Sorry bro, gotta disagree again. The internet is all about polarization and both of the games you cited have defenders and haters even on these forums. DA2 is no different from anything else in this regard.

One thing I find interesting though is that how much money people paid for it seems to influence their opinion. I know very few people who paid $60 for DA2 on day one and feel it was worth it. Conversely I know several people who paid $20 or less for it and thought highly of the game.

It's interesting. DA2 has a terrible rep, but there is a strong core of people out there that absolutely love it. I remember listening to the GWJ podcast a couple of years ago, and they did a whole 'cast just on that game.

Literally everything has a fan on the internet dude You can think of the stupidest activity possible and it will have a fanclub.

(Need that -1 set Ring very, very bad)

The RoRG isn't too bad I find, I usually just run split bounties on Normal for an hour or two until I have a full stash tab of caches then make a private game, cash them all and spend 5 mins picking up all the loot. I've yet to do this on a character and not have the ring sitting there amongst the piles. It would really suck to get disconnected there though. It's not always a well rolled ring but oh well.

I love driving, no matter what I'm doing. I don't even mind traffuck. I just love to drive. If you don't like driving, you're driving the wrong car.

I have a great car, there is just nothing pleasurable about commuting to work. I would prefer to leisure drive in my free time. My car can drive me to work while I use that otherwise ho-hum time to do something useful instead of it just being a waste of existence

Im not looking forward to that. I enjoy driving way too much.

Everyday driving sucks IMO, if I'm going to cut loose or whatever I would rather do that on a track or on a road trip. The rest of the time let me drink my coffee, read the news and actually use my commute to do something useful.

I like that the Mystic will not give you the same affix twice in a reroll. So annoying trying to reroll say Life on Hit to Crit and getting double LoH pop ups. All in all a good patch though Demon Hunters still need massive fucking survivability buffs. Awareness did not do shit on T4+. My Barb is absolutely ballin though. While bitching to a buddy in voice chat last night I said "ok time for Kadala to bone me", had 10 shards left and got a very well rolled Cindercoat and a Immortal Kings chest. Most of the time I can blow 200+ before I see a legendary, last night was definitely the exception. It was a very WTF moment in clan chat.

I am starting to get bored with the game though, there is not much left for me to do except reroll the same items I already have hoping for very slight improvements in rolls. Crusader buffs were great but something about the class just doesn't click for me.
