Been waiting for the BL2 GotY edition. Might have to pull the trigger.

If you never played it, I found it far more entertaining than the original. The humor is top notch. I'd compare it to a first person diablo, only you're just hunting for guns and trinkets, as opposed to armor.

Outside of the "GOTY" edition (which doesn't include everything) there's a ton of DLC in the form of costumes that you don't need at all (and unless you're playing multi, no one else will even see).

edit: Steam shows me at 174 hours, which is waaaay more than I'd normally play anything. I'd go back now, but I'm totally burnt out on it...

The Order 1886 'will be single-player only'.

I'm really excited about that - great news!

Page one from the "EA downplays _____ criticisms" playbook.

You know it's bad when even Blue shits on them...

Weird. Wonder how much this will be.
Taken from the Uplay page for the gold edition of ACIV: "This single-player adventure adds more than 3 hours of playing time to the total experience of Black Flag."

Seems odd to me that they release that as a standalone. Unless there's more to it than that.
I bet it'll be $15. The same price as Blood Dragon when it was released.

Works already done. It's easy money. And if someone who skipped 4 enjoys it enough to buy the full game?

They have nothing to lose...

"fooks sake!"

I cracked up at the part about sweetening her up. I also liked the U2 on the radio for stereotype value.

Yeah, towards the end, I was starting to wonder if the whole thing was staged...still humorous, though.

We do have a toothbrush fence, it's only a 25 min drive from where I am now. Out Limestone loop rd. (it's at a hippie farm/camp - hence why they don't need the toothbrushes)

Flight of the Conchords is a reality drama doco, not as some believe, a comedy. It's hard being a Kiwi (by the way it's own 'National' day today)

Analyst labels PlayStation Now 'a joke'.

Still incredibly skeptical of it working. We'll see, I guess...

Anyone get in on the beta?

Michael Pachter's track record for predicting anything in gaming is pretty pathetic. He does little to no research to come to his conclusions and then phrases his "analysis" in the most provocative way possible so that he can attract lazy game journalists to come to him for quotes hoping to set up some sort of self fulfilling cycle. In short, Pachter is an analyst who realized that being an analyst was hard work and doesn't get you as much attention as just randomly pulling things out of your ass and ranting about them.

Oh, I'm certainly not defending him...

On the guys' front, I'd say Phil Collins always sounded great live, Simon Le Bon, Peter Cetera, just off the top of my head. And of course the Three Tenors sounded fantastic live. :)

I saw Duran Duran a few years ago, and was really amazed how good Simon sounded, decades on. I'm guessing maybe he's had some semi clean living...

Gross topic, but okay. Unless you're laying bricks, shit is soft. As in, it crumbles. It's also typically long and thin, so by its very nature, its shape helps it speed along long thin pipes.

Toilet paper, sure, it dissolves in water, but it takes quite awhile for it to do so (days on average.) And unlike you, most people probably chuck in a fair bit MORE of toilet paper than the actual volume of their turd. And it's either in large clumps or squares, and when they flush, they flush four, five, who knows how many such clumps together.

(There's one fucking retard on my floor at work who never seems to understand that he can't just wipe his ass 187 times in a row, and then try to flush the entire equivalent of Dunder Mifflin's stock in toiler paper in one go. Two or three times a week, a toilet is just completely, utterly STUFFED with TP. Like overflowing over the bowl. These are the kind of morons that inhabit this planet.)

Add all of these together along with very small sewage pipes (which is very typical in poor countries, because it's far cheaper to put in 3 or 4 inch pipes versus 8 or 12 inch pipes that we typically do in the western world), and you can see how easily it clogs. Btw, when your sewage lines clog in your house, it's because of TP, not because of shit.

This is seriously venturing in an OotB type topic...

Playstation Now is being presented as a digital emulator essentially, bringing PSOne, PS2, and PS3 games to the PS4 and Vita.

Well, streaming, but yes. Everything is done on the back end, with none of it locally (my understanding, at least).
