First big flop of the year? Watched people play it, and while it does look fun, it also looks like the exact same thing, over and over...

I played this the week it came out on PS1. I was utterly blown away - I loved it! Will definitely be getting this for nostalgia value.

It's funny, looking at it now, it's almost laughably bad, graphically speaking. But for it's time, it was mindblowing. It and Wipeout both were just huge leaps...

Anyone have an undelete or similar program they really like?

Old man installed Win7 over win7 (don't ask) and trying to figure out if I can rip some data off the disk......

Yet get a little closer you realise they have an agenda of control. Of making it about Islam. Or using Islam to push their own agendas, be it making money or just generally trying to domineer.

I feel like you could say that about a lot of religions, including my own.

I liked This is the End, but The Interview was a stinker. Glad I only spent the $6 on it for the VOD, instead of going to a theater for the disappointment.

This is the End was really awesome, and I agree that the Interview cant really compare, but as far as buddy buddy comedies go I thought it was pretty decent. I do have a thing for Seth Rogen films, people are always going on about how low brow these movies are and I really dont get that. The jokes are crude and ridiculous but they spare no one (including and perhaps especially themselves) and it takes intelligence to 'get' that.

And Seth's movies aren't nearly as bad as say, Adam Sandler's.

I thought Interview was ok to good. Not as good as End or Pineapple, but still enjoyable.

Nin, fire up dosbox and head over to myabandonware.com, they all there and play fine in dosbox

That's not a bad idea at all...I used to have them on 3.5 floppies but I've not had a floppy drive in I don't know when.

Sony actually considered just not releasing the movie at all, so anything is gravy at this point, right?

They're still going to lose money on it. But getting any of it back is welcome.

Rather interesting sign of the times that 31 million online. I'm sure theater owners are pissed, but the times are changing.

It's confusing that his company is named "Origin PC." I just assumed that he was working at EA Origin's website, and might have been heading that up. I guess it's not infringement, but damn is it confusing.

Yeah, that was a little headscratching at first...

I'd still love to try Valve's controller...I may totally end up hating it, but it at least looks interesting.

I didn't mind Act 1, can't believe how long they're taking to do Act 2. But my main gripe was the difficulty. Point and click adventure games have become stupid easy since the old King's Quest days.

Well to be fair part of the difficultly was fighting with text parsers.

OMG the hair pulling in those first few Space Quest/Police Quests...

Speaking of ditching the txt line, I'm disappointed the ManHunter games aren't on gog.

AFAIK Brink was not F2P. It still ended up sucking balls. At least this way, anyone can try it and see for themselves.

DB is listed as F2P...

All of them sound retarded for Far Cry.

Here's a thought, Ubisoft: How about you... I dunno, make a new IP? I think after 4 games, we've seen Far Cry. I really don't need yet another game with the exact same gameplay elements in it (though since it's Ubisoft, any new IP will really still just be Ubisoft the Game and be 30% AC, 30% Far Cry, 40% Gather All The Things)

Also: Set fire to your Kiev studio, as they are beyond fucking incompetent.

After Watch Dogs and The Crew, the new IP route didn't exactly pan out...

Much better pricing plan Sony. I can actually see many Playstation owners doing that, particularly those with families where multiple users with multiple gaming tastes are playing on the machine. It's a lot cheaper than buying everyone the games they like individually. Hell, if Nintendo offered something like this on a WiiU I would buy one today and subscribe immediately. I would prefer some sort of "Master PS+" subscription option that includes PS Now so I don't have to maintain two separate subscriptions...bet hey...that's not a big deal.

Not so sure that it's as attractive for single user situations.

I still think it's too high, but good luck to them.
