I'd love to have a few more weeks (or months) of that...

So is that the dogfighting module they've been talking about? They just renamed it?

Wondered that as well.

As far as I understand it, yes. It's now like a virtual reality game, within the SC universe... Game within a game. So the work they do there won't be wasted when they get on to other parts of the SC project.

Not unlike the simulator at the beginning of Wing Commander then.

Dont like cable dont buy it = simple as that...

You do realize that the cable companies are also the primary backbone of nearly all local wireless and other local/municipal independent sources of internet as well right?

The local cable companies have a monopoly and law to make their monopolies on local internet and cable services stick. It is completely ridiculous how bad it is. just like the Oil and Gas industry.

This is all happening because there is no competition allowed by law.

Exactly. I cut the cord years ago - great! But where does my money for internet access go to? My cable provider! What does the competition offer? DSL! Whoo!

Eisenberg = Fail. We will witness the Lex in all his Eisenbergian glory. Seriously this guy basically portrays the same character in every single film Ive seen of him. So I guess Lex Luthor is going to be an intelligent, self-centered hipster nerd?? Great....

I know, was Benedict Cumberbatch not available? Also, Lex Luthor again? Aren't there any other Superman villains besides Lex and Zod?

Besides Batman and Superman, the rest of the villians in the DC universe just suck.

For some reason, outside of maybe Batman (and maybe a little Sups), I've never been a huge fan of the DC universe. The only thing I can figure is, with so many of their heroes coming from the golden age, by todays standards, their powers seem goofy or out of date. Green Lantern being able to make various things, Wonder Woman's golden rope, etc, etc...

So the idea of a Justice League movie sounds (to me) like a disaster.

Maybe I just grew up with a strong Marvel influence/bias, I dunno.

OH GOD OH GOD. CAN'T BREATHE. PAPER BAG PLEASE.

Ars did an article about that just recently. Unless 20th Century Fox is on board, it's not gonna happen.

Considering they've been on board with every other box set...including the disney reissues that happened last year...

I stand corrected, those are listed as "20th Century Fox Home Entertainment".

The only thing good about GoW was that one commercial with that Mazzy Star song.

The one they did with the cover of Tears For Fears "Mad World" was kinda nice.

Could never get into GOW or Halo...I guess that's part of the reason why jumping to the PS camp wasn't difficult.

Grand Theft Auto trilogy released on Kindle Fire, Fire TV.

That has to be almost unplayable. Controls have to suck.

I remember trying to play Chinatown Wars (approx title?) on the DS and the controls were just a nightmare.

Most of you parrot "party lines" guys really don't get it. The Tea Party is the rebuilding of America - old hat stuffy bear republicans and parrot pete-repeat lies libs better get used to losing.

Ted Cruz (Tea Party) gives the FCC the middle finger

More than $1 trillion has already been invested in broadband infrastructure, which has led to an explosion of new content, applications, and Internet accessibility. Congress, not an unelected commission, should take the lead on modernizing our telecommunications laws. The FCC should not endanger future investments by stifling growth in the online sector, which remains a much-needed bright spot in our struggling economy."

Because a massive near country wide monopoly can be trusted to expand, innovate and create a healthy market environment that encourages others to do the same? It's asinine to think that they would, or to think any real competition could arise because of market demand. As Mr. Cruz points out there's already been a $1 trillion investment into the infrastructure, that's a pretty big roadblock for any company to overcome. Even a company as big as Google is having a hard time getting into the ISP business, they'll probably only deploy in the most lucrative markets and the other 90% of America will be SOL. Cruz's is delusional, it's like he thinks the free market is some kind of divine entity of goodness that is only prevented from creating an economic utopia because people meddle with it. News flash, it's only about people meddling with it, and what he wants is for only very specific people to be able to meddle with it, while everyone is is consigned to be a consumer slave.

Wow, he's a Ted Cruz fan? I guess that explains the delusions...

where did you read he wasn't a replicant? i've read interviews with scott where he stated deckard was a replicant, and the director's cut makes that very clear.

Ford and Scott have been back and forth for years on that one.

Well, then it would be DIFFERENT. Can't have that. Also, you'd like to play as the oligarchy stamping out the last remnants of freedom? No underdogs for you?

Personally, I like playing as the good guys.

Good guys? Who are they? Freedom? What's that? You're talking about illusions. About perspective and degrees. Nothing more. Fact is the Nazis has a lot of good ideas and policies. Sure they had their batshit crazy stuff too but who doesn't?

Nice. Are we retconning the Nazis now?

"Hitler was nice! He played with his nephews and loved doggies! He would never hurt anyone."

"Hitler never played Risk as a kid!"

edit: Full show, for anyone with two hours to kill.

I was worried this was going to be a 6-8 hour SP, and if I stitched all the trailers together I'd have seen 90% of the game (or the good parts at least). 15-20 hours sounds rather nice for a shooter of this type these days..

Almost sounds too good to be true. I'll be curious what reviews clock in as...as it stands, I'm a little skeptical of that figure.

Which is precisely why he's so suited to reprise Han Solo.
