I actually thought the drop rates pre-buff were fine and during the buff were rather absurd. It's not unusual at all to get out of a rift with 5+ legendaries.
Once again, I guess my luck just sucks. Getting 5 legendaries in a single rift would be extremely unusual for me. I'd say one is about average. I haven't kept careful stats, but I said it's roughly equal chances of getting none, 1 or 2 -- with a small chance, maybe 5% of getting 3 or more from a single rift(T1/T2).

I average about the same, I'd say 1-2...last week, the night the buff went live, I played for like two hours and didn't have a single orange drop.

Hmm...Not only was it on the front page yesterday but I got an email to both my accounts. It doesn't seem to me like they are hiding anything.

That's odd, as I got no email at all, and kept expecting to get one yesterday.

Zip and it's big brother Jazz, disks were awesome for the time. There really wasn't anything better at the time. I'm not sure where they were talking about with all the issues and low adoption rates, as that was never my experience. CD writers may have replaced their usefulness as backup devices, but not as a portable storage medium. USB key drives are what really killed ZIP.

Oh man, now you got me thinking about my old syquest drive, and it's whopping 1.5 gig! I actually ran windows off one (slowly!) for a week or so, while I was waiting on a replacement hard drive.

If you ever pass through Tulsa, make sure to hit Burn Co. I'm not much of a fan of ribs, but theirs are spectacular.

Also, Mama Bear is awesome...

I'm assuming that doesn't include patterns? Wish it did, but still glad they're keeping the buff.

eBay buries its own advisory to change passwords following database hack.

Yeah, when I went to change my password yesterday, I didn't see any mention on the front page. Only when I went to the support page, did I see the #1 question was "How do I change my password?".

Saw a guy walking two airdale pups this morning and thought of you.

I've been meaning to ask, but don't mean to pry: have you considered a (live in) friend for Gunnar?

I'll probably pick it up. I loved Bastion enough $20 for this game doesn't seem much of a risk. Some of the early reviews I saw said more of the same goodness; seamless narration story and music while being different enough from Bastion to have its own charm. Not a demo, but here's the sound track: http://kotaku.com/listen...

My real quesiton is should I get it on the PC or PS4

I'm on the fence as well. Leaning towards the ps4, but would like the soundtrack from the pc version (I see they're selling cds of it as well).

But he said h2o is poisonous. How does over-hydration qualify as a poisonous substance? That's the part I am having a problem understanding.

poisonous - a substance with an inherent property that tends to destroy life or impair health.

I don't think there are inherent properties in water that destroy life, therefore, classifying it as poison seems somewhat silly. But whatever floats your boat. It would be akin to saying since floods kill people it follows that water is poisonous. Are we starting to see the crazy of the comment that water is poisonous? If not I can give more examples.

Seeing as your own quote says "impair health" I think you answered your own question.

Umm, there was a reason I posted the whole sentence and not just two words of the sentence. If you guys wanna play word games knock yourself out. I never in my life heard of water(h2o) being classified as a poison. I never seen on my bottle of nestle water a number for a poison control center. But I'll look again just in case you guys know something I don't. I think we are using the word 'poisonous' just a lil bit too liberally here.

Keep moving those goal posts, it's cool...

Fruit contains arsenic. You gonna' stop eating fruit?

How Hyponatremia Works.

Same with eggs. A guy at an eating contest in the US a year or two chugged down two dozen raw eggs and promptly had a stroke. That's happened to other people and killed a few as well.

The moral of the story? As the old expression goes, all things in moderation.

Don't tell him about how bananas are radioactive!!!!!!!!!!
