Off topic, but hey.

The Protein World "Beach Body Ready" ad has been banned.

Just remember: SJWs don't want to BAN anything. They're just criticizing.

It's only when their criticism doesn't yield the results that they want that they start banning things.

Why the fuck would you post that in the Consolidation thread?

Why post it at all, when it doesn't pertain to an article posted today?

This guy will have released four separate games in, what, a year and a month?

They appear to barely improve upon the previous release yet he sells that as full (indie) titles.

Well, grats to him for printing money like this but when AAA devs do something even close to this they get crucified for it.

And a movie deal, I believe. He changes up the gameplay with each one (you're juggling different things each game) but the game itself is still totally rendered.

I will say, despite the repetitive gameplay, I found the knockoff "Five Nights At Fuckboys" to be rather funny...

I bet a lot of people will skip this if it doesn't support SLI, as would be expected since it's still using IdTech5.
The game runs great on lower end systems, so SLI would be overkill for this one

Never mind that "a lot of people will skip this if it doesn't support SLI" would be "lot of SLI users from the smaller subset that actually uses SLI".

For those of us who play many, many games and tend to be skilled players, Mordor wasn't very impressive. The combat required a child's intellect and the game world wasn't nearly as compelling as Batman or most AC games.

But for people who don't play many games or don't really study games in depth, they loved Mordor because it was so easy to be an "epic killa" and such.

How wonderfully condescending of you.

I can't blame anyone on waiting on a deal, but know that when you do purchase it, you're getting one of the best games of 2014 (after Wolfenstein: The New Order).

I guess I'm saying I don't regret paying what I did, and if you're even remotely on the fence, it's a great game. Don't be afraid to jump in.

Same, I liked the article and even the offshoot link to 'The Last of Us: interview with Neil Druckmann and Ashley Johnson'. Figured he just got caught up in the moment of an intense game/scene.

First time I've done it, but as PC gamer figured we would never get to play it. So I watched the movie version. I've never even watched a Twitch stream of someone else playing a game before. This was edited together so well, (if you didn't know) you never really know it's a game being played. It was like watching an animated action movie.

It is a very intense moment/scene, at least it was for me. I felt like he was making the right decision to save her, but at the same time, the reprecussions of her living are hard to ignore.

Dropping into SST: I need to replay, but I'm about 95% sure there's an audio log you find in the hospital that says there were others before Ellie. Which I took as a way to let the player off the hook for doing what Joel did. If there were others, there still could be others out there. And Joel's actions didn't damn humanity.

But, after reading various threads, some folks didn't find that log, and basically say "welp! humanity is SCREWED NOW!!!!!!!" Which I don't agree with.

I will say that if there is a sequel (and signs are pointing that way), I hope it's set somewhere else entirely and doesn't reference any characters from the first game. Their story was excellent, but it reached a good ending, and I'd hate to have another game soil that memory.

Spoilerly question...

PC gamer, so haven't played 'The Last of Us. Don't you get a choice about killing the doctors (I thought you could just grab her and go)? The NPR writer/Astrophysics Professor/author seems to have gotten it wrong. I'm not disputing you have to kill the doctor attacking you, but you don't have to kill 'ALL' the doctors, correct?

Seems Adam Frank went on a killing spree and blamed it on 'Joel' becoming a monster due to the environmental factors of the story and society there in.

I only killed the one directly in front of her, that I'm pretty sure (been awhile since I played) had a scalpel in his hand. Think there were two others who backed away and I left them.

It's an interesting article, but I didn't agree with his assessment, especially the end.

Funny story. A few years ago a friend of a friend had been trying for a couple of years to get his wife pregnant, but no deal. They saw a specialist, took drugs, tracked her ovulation, nothing worked. The doctors were at a loss, as both the husband and wife were young, in shape, and healthy, and tests showed both of them completely fertile. They were just getting ready to try artificial insemination when it comes out during a casual conversation with the doctor: both of them had learned how to have sex by watching porn, and the guy pulled out. Every. Single. Time.

Needless to say, she was pregs about six weeks later.

That's a serious Jackie Chan WTF.jpg there...

Wonder at what point they made the switch from MMO to single/multi RPG.

The name change was just in the last few months, but they said they did it to more accurately reflect the gameplay.
