But the other half of me still enjoys watching them screaming in the bottom right cockpit windows as they realize the horror of the situations I place them in. You don't make omelets without cracking a few eggs.
Based on the videos I watched, I always throw up my hands and cheer when the spacecraft explodes, but somehow the cabin they're in (and the Kerbals themselves) survives.

I'm in on WL2, Torment, Grim Dawn, and a couple others too I think, but SRR is the one I'm most anxious for. That's going to be the game that I drop everything for and probably play until my eyes bleed. Likely get into building stuff for it too. It just seems to be turning out really great.
Agreed. I was hoping for the best, but that video really wowed me. I couldn't have been more impressed with it.
Dammit, I hate it when I miss something like that! I so would have been in on the Shadow Run Kickstarter if I had known about it.

They stated in the past that it averages out to about 25% development costs vs. 75% marketing. How very sad.
I actually like those numbers. I doubt they're sustainable...

I'm guessing because you can buy it on steam. It looks fascinating, and I really need to grab it. Maybe for next vacation in June...
Anyone know if they plan to increase the price for the final (non alpha/beta) version?

To the comment made that after reading about the plot and not being impressed, in this particular case reading the story and experiencing the story of Bioshock Infinite are two completely different things. That's my take on it, anyway. Discovering how it all fits together, on your own, is an experience all to it self.
I finished it Friday night. And while I think I liked the story of the original Bioshock better (and maybe that's rose tinted glasses), Infinite was definitely the most memorable game I've played in awhile (atmosphere wise, maybe since the original Bio), and easily the best thing I've played so far this year...
It's not perfect, but it was enjoyable. I'm curious how the DLC will fit in.
