Queen's Tragic Rhapsody.

Great article. It's long, and I only got part way through, so I'll have to finish it later. Queen is absolutely one of the greatest, unique, and influential bands ever, and it's interesting to see the forces at play on these men and how in informed their music. Very cool.

I picked this up awhile back, but haven't got around to watching it. Afraid the ending will be so sad...

Hey nin, do you post comments on the Areal KS page? I know you follow this story closely. No idea what is your name there.

I cannot comment there, not that I have a lot to say anyway, but I don't have an Amazon account and I don't plan to get one.

I started at $25, dropped to $1 (the minimum, to post) and then removed that.

I really wasn't planning on following it, but after all the fuss (and with time off last week), I started reading back and discovered the problem was with the devs, and not with the posters.

It would be easy to say that a small group of folks are making a lot of noise, but they're doing so because they've asked politely a number of times in the past, and the devs never acknowledge them, or just say they're troublemakers. They literally insult the folks that are most interested in the project, and want more detail/answers.

Rather baffling...

The Garrison sounded really neat, but I admit I've not followed it closely.

Thread hijack, the Warlords of Draenor beta pretty much tells the Pandaria-style atmosphere to fuck off as soon as you get ported to the Dark Portal. It's definitely the darkest timeline and it remains that way through much of what's playable.

Even a god damn dog dies by getting impaled from a spear by a super dick.

I always get this twitch leading up to every new expansion. "I'll be different! I won't have to farm", etc, etc...

Like all the others, I'm sure I'll try it out, but I don't suspect I'll last long...it is neat that you can tell the differences in expansions based on which teams worked on them.

Seems they haven't pushed that far past the 33k mark. Been stuck there at least a week.

That's because all they've been able to produce is sketches and drawings. The people that have pledged there have even created a google doc, with specific questions about the project, and the devs refuse to discuss anything. The devs then suggested people should email them questions, but those questions don't get answered, either.

If you question them in any way whatsoever, you're "a doubter". There was even a translation of a quote they give elsewhere, where they admit their 50K goal is to produce a alpha that someone else can fund.

It's all in the comments tab. Question after question gets asked, and ignored. Anyone that puts their money towards this can't complain later about being taken for a ride, since all the signs are there.

edit: Also, here's a nice recap, updated as West puts out "updates"...

“The game’s producer explicitly told us that the success of reaching the 50,000 mark is meant entirely to show off in front of investors. Factually, that money is needed only to attract the “real” big cash, because the development of this game of such a game would cost much more than a million dollars.”

To be fair, though, what have you heard more about; the Humble Bundle or Bundle in a Box?

To be fair, though, the comment was "no one seems to have heard of Bundle in a Box".

I will be there. Hoping by tomorrow I can get the store to pre-order the CE for me so I can pick it up at Midnight release, but I used the code from my online purchase to register beta already. Can't wait.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing what the beta is offering...

Well seeing as no one seems to have heard of Bundle in a Box it's little wonder they're going out of business.

I had gotten a couple of bundles from them in the past, but they as a site weren't particularly visible and on occasion their bundles were just too quirky. I don't mind out there games (quite the contrary, in fact), but sometimes you need something with a bit more cred to get people interested than just a lot of stuff that might be months away from even starting a Greenlight campaign.

A search for "Bundle in a box" shows this as their 6th mention here, but don't let that get in the way of someones near constant negativity...

I played the Destiny alpha, and I came away impressed. It was an enjoyable game. Preordered after the alpha, was on the fence beforehand. I wish it would come to the PC, but it's the first game my PS4 has gotten any action from that wasn't TowerFall.

Oh, and my PS4 died during the alpha. Had to roll out and buy a replacement, which died as well. Still have my launch day 360 for all the hubbub about that red ring shit, I'm surprised that two fucking PS4s died within a week of each other (conditioned power, too)

Good lord man, what are you doing to them? And each one should come with a one year warranty.

Ok, heard too many good things from everyone, finally broke down and bought Divinity: Original Sin. Don't remember any of the older games, so either I never played them or it was so long ago I forgot. Hope no previous knowledge is necessary to enjoy this one!

Please keep us posted, always looking for more opinions - Thanks!

Ghost edition of Destiny announced, along with Limited Edition and start of Beta access. (07/17 for PS4) Ghost Edition includes their version of a season pass. Excuse me, I have to run to Gamestop.

I see it on amazon. $149 on the high end? Ballsy...

We also got a demonstration from the Gunnar-man of his improving psychic powers, as he managed to get a huge pile of oven-fried potatoes to fall off the table through telekinesis.
