Every time I see Cook, Serve, Delicious! I think of Ryan =( Great game, and that tribute was really rad.

What happened there? Someone died?

I'd had that game on my list forever, keep meaning to pull the trigger.

Ryan Davis was one of the Giant Bomb co-founders. He died last year. As for what he has to do with Cook, Serve, Delicious, see the link below.

Great game. My wife and I adore it, and that doesn't happen especially often. It hits that balance of 'difficult but fair' every time; and I never feel like success is out of reach. Only that I need a bit more practice to get the hang of those tougher recipes.

Thanks!

Almost sent this in last but decided not to. But with today being Veterans Day, why not?

This gentleman died a week ago. I didn't know him, but was friends with one of his family members. Given the circumstances, I'll pass both of these along.

I couldn't remember anything noteworthy about it until someone mentioned Overwatch. It literally faded from memory in about 12 hours.

It doesn't look bad, it's just not a game that I'm personally interested in. I'm sure it'll do well for them.

especially since GTA5 has that nasty bullshit-DRM-on-the-PC rumor going on.

I sent this to Blue the other day, but I don't recall seeing it posted.

I'm sure that's true... they pay 60 days after they are paid, so I think their goal is hold off until after the return period has passed.

Ah, ok, good to know.

A little disappointed this year. was excited about a new IP, until I saw what it was. Starcraft still coming, but no date. No mention of another diablo expansion (really want a necro).

Maybe next year will be better.

I'm assuming you don't get credit until the item is charged? For example, I used the links to order the latest archer and boardwalk empire, but both don't come out until January.

Ordered the dead snow discs the other day, and some pill containers. Oh, and Weird Al and COD.

Holiday rush provides lots of opportunities.

This is pretty outrageous. This kind of shit makes you want to go back to retail cd's and DVD's. The only thing Valve should be doing is removing the songs from future purchases of the games - to do it retroactively is absolute BS. This is a good way to make people lose faith instantly in digital services like Steam.

I suspect R* is the issue here, not steam. They're apparently the ones who decided to have one version, and not two, based on when you bought it.

Steam has removed the users ability to disable updates.

Not true. Go away troll.

I just checked - having also exclaimed bullshit - but it's true. The update options are "always", "high-priority", and "when it launches". There's no "never" option. I don't know when this change happened.

It shouldn't be legal to remove content from a game that people have bought. I'm sure they're covered by some small print but this seems wrong.

I'm not sure which is accurate here: Some are saying the option was just reworded, and that previously, you couldn't launch the game w/o getting the update anyway. Not sure I agree with that, but I never used the feature, either.
