Tombstone is on.......

In case you missed it - D3 is 19.99 at Blizz right now. Can't complain at that price point! Loot 2.0 is a really nice change.

Yeah, I caved and got it. Like Alien said, consider it a $20 rental. At least that's how I'm rationalizing my hyporcrisy, sigh. Doesn't help that I'm snowed in and bored out of my skull atm. We're getting another 1-3 feet of snow today. It's snowing like a mofo out right now. Effing sigh. I seriously think I'm getting the SAD now. If this isn't over in the next 2 weeks or so then fuck it I'm going to Florida or something for a week.

<Prof Farnsworth>: "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?"

I was going to say he isn't even driving on the right side of the road ffs! What kind of a simulator is this?!

GOTTA HAVE TOW TRUCK SIMULATOR!

One of the most fun portions of GTA5 was the tow truck stuff!

o_O

Cry

Trevor's rampage was pretty fun (especially that one right outside the military base!). I'm attempting to do all the knife flights now. I think on any one, there's about a 50% chance my plan will crash immediately afterwards.

I think their morality score is kind of interesting. It's like, yes, it's a fun game, and yes, if you're sensitive to sexual content/violence you should stay far, far away. Not sure where the hypocrisy is there. They're just acknowledging multiple demographics in their review.

Ssshhh, Christianity bashing is a firmly established belief on Bluesnews.

Don't think of it so much as bashing Xtianity as it is bashing stupidity. Religion is for the weak and the stupid. Period. And the worst part is that this brainwashing is perfectly legal and non-taxable.

I'm sure Creston appreciates you perfectly illustrating your point for him.

LOL

I found the open beta to be pretty 'meh' myself. As an old mechwarrior fan the total lack of customization and simplicity of combat in the Mechs is a huge turn off to me. Everyone just uses the one that gathers and throws back bullets. Combine that with the handful of tiny, uninspired maps and terrible AI on the bots you cannot turn off. This is bargain bin material for me. I'd frankly much prefer to just reinstall BF4, a startlingly better game in my mind.

that's exactly what it was designed to be... a simple dumbed down mech game for the CoD masses. just be glad we get served a game like this at all, so play and try to make the most of it instead of complain and complain... that's all i hear u guys do.

For some reason I suspect there would be a lot less bitching and hate if this game wasn't published by EA as a Microsoft exclusive, the two big evils in gaming. If Mojang released it for PS4 there would be a global wide unending circle jerk about it.

I don't play multi only games - try again.

What I DO find hypocritical is that a game like Hitman 2 can get a C- for Appropriateness (the scale they used before Morality) while South Park gets a 0. The former is a game WHERE A MAN IS PAID MONEY TO MURDER PEOPLE, and even if he has a "good" overarching motive (finding his priest) he is still being paid to kill dozens of people.

I don't see what's hypocritical about that: isn't killing people for profit while telling yourself it's for a good cause what religion is all about?

Jesus had a couple of hits out, didn't he?

Patch already? Wow... Do your fucking homework, developers. If you don't have a QA department to do sufficient testing before releasing your game, then perhaps you shouldn't be in the business of making games.

I don't think you understand how dumb you sound. The mere fact that there is a patch on day one means their QA department found bugs and eliminated them between the time the game went gold and release, or fixed pre-existing bugs during that timeframe. If they didn't have a QA department, you'd still be playing a shitty mess riddled with bugs...but guess what, you don't.

2 words for you:
1) Cartridge games.
2) Devs taking advantage of the "Patch" system to rush out a product to the sheeple for quick money due to greed.

Holy wild revelations, batman! Sudden news flash!

Water is a very fast renewable resource. And if you live in the city it is collected, treated and reused faster yet. Love the scare tactic of "using too much water", it all gets back out of you and reused through the eco system. Exception is drought area's but most of the population of the US do not live in a drought area. But even those places if it's a city, it is controlled via water management.

Xbox One cloud servers "absolutely essential" to Titanfall.

Until that sequel rolls around, and the exclusivity clause is up...

I still prefer physical medias especially with videos since Internet can be slow, unstable, DRM, etc.

Not to mention that, at present, even "Super HD" from Netflix is pretty rubbish quality compared to a Blu-Ray disc. Hell, there are some films on Blu-Ray where the AUDIO bitrate is higher than the total bitrate on a Netflix stream...

Exactly. When digital media can approach the A/V bitrate of disc, then I might consider a change. But I don't see that happening soon...I'll stick with a superior quality that I can then rip into whatever format I use at the time (right now, it's straight ISO).
