Never played it on console or watched any videos on youtube just about aside from trailers.

They can take as long as they like for all I care. Looking forward to it but I got plenty to stay busy while I wait

You're going to have a great time. It doesn't reinvent the wheel from previous games in the series (other than the obvious FP), but it does what it does really well.

I won't lie, there's the slightest bit of enjoyment as people wring their hands and wait.

So they delay it for 3 more weeks, supposedly because a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC.

And then in the same announcement: "As always, we ask for the GTA PC community’s understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable initial teething issues arise on the new platform."

So which is it, Rockstar? Do you need 3 more weeks because you need to polish, or are you not polishing and expecting it to run like crap anyway?

Whatever, I've long since lost interest. I'll pick it up for 5 bucks at the Christmas sale.

You want me to tell ya the ending?!

Adria Richards, however, is what we normal, not-so-PC-it's-freaky people call a "bitch." She has a history of doing bitchy things to people. She wasn't afraid, she was totally looking to start something over nothing, just like she has done in the past. She a professional at taking offense to anything and everything she can find, and she finally had to lie in the bed she made. Boo. Hoo.

Wow, how did you guys not get the B and B twins in here yet?

That screams for the Benny Hill treatment.

My favorite was the guy over at K saying it didn't look that hard, and all the guy needed to do was drive straight.

And then admitted he'd never played the game.

Can someone really tell me why they are so worked up over the DLC plan of Evolve since it's really nothing more than cosmetics and post-release additions?

Isn't this what most people WANT from DLC?

It feels like they spent too much time scheming on ways to incorporate DLC into their game and not enough time on producing a sold, fun game to play.

The game may be fun for a select few but it's no where near hitting the mark of a $60 AAA title.

He paid $100 for it! Can you believe that????

And AS will obviously have to win something won't it? In spite of it being the worst kind of propaganda even liberal Hollywood still has to kowtow the MIIC. Can't be seen questioning that sort thing or yoi'll be branded as an enemy of 'Murica!

Or ... maybe "liberal" Hollywood isn't quite as liberal on some things as you seem to think it is? Particularly American "exceptionalism" and the American military?

Haven't seen AS but I'm curious to see how his death is covered. I thought Kyle's murder at a gun range was a bizarre example of poetic justice. The snake eating its own tail. Live by the sword ... die by the sword.

Yeah, helping out fellow vets who have PTSD and winding up getting killed by one. Such justice. Fuck his wife and kid too, right? There aren't words to describe the kind of person I think you are.

Don't feed than, man!

longevity, depth of play, repetition

Bingo! Watched some guys do a let's play, and by the end of the second round, thought "Is that it????".

I'll say this though, there's an offline play with bots (and coop with bots filling in) so I'll buy the GOTY version in a couple of years once all the DLC is included. Just don't see the point right now.

Exactly. Once it's all in one package, down to $20, I'll check it out...

Therefore I have no choice but to predict The Grand Budapest Hotel will sweep every category, including the ones where it isn't nominated. Congrats in advance to Wes Anderson for this unprecedented feat.

So where does it rank in your WA list? I still like Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic the best. I guess the ending of Budapest (won't spoil, for those that still haven't seen it) bummed me out a bit.

Got to thinking about the recurring events in his movies: In both Tenenbaums and Moonrise, a dog dies, but in Aquatic and Budapest, it's a cat. And in Tenenbaums, Aquatic, and Budapest (perhaps more, if I thought about it), SST: it's the death of a central character that ends the movie. Oh, and the cobra and (the reveal of what happened to) the father in Darjeeling.

I love all his stuff, but I also heavily favorite some over others. I think Bill Murray and Gene Hackman just being total assholes for two hours make those my favorites, as it's so entertaining to watch.

edit: Dammit, now I gotta go watch them all again.

Wow, never thought I'd describe a skunk as "cute" but that one is...

I'm actually fine with Pratt as Jones. It's a franchise that's going to outlive the folks that did the original, and changes are bound to happen. And frankly, they could do a fuckload worse than Pratt.

Speak for yourself! RNG is RNG. I've been having really shitty luck with my HC 'sader... I'm tough as a motherfucker but my damage is awful. I'm PL50 and only two bad weapons have dropped.

Pretty much this. Last season, it took 170 ish PL levels to get my HC monk to a T3 geared state. I then leveled an HC sader and in the time it took me to go from PL 170 to 175, she was fully geared out and well past my monk in both dmg and toughness. And moreover, all of that gear dropped in a single 3hr play session. RNG is RNG.

This is true. Some nights it's like candy, some nights I seriously wonder if the game is bugged.

Well that's it then. That's kind of a relief, actually.

I was holding out hope that D3 could be salvaged some day; now we can just uninstall.

It's frustrating that they can't seem to decide what they want to do with it...between this and overwatch, it feels like they've gone from a company with great ideas to a company that just chases the latest trend.

Handcrafted designs and natural or elaborate sets age much better than CGI elements and that's the appeal they have to me. I can go back and watch The Thing from 1982 and still be amazed by how authentic everything looks (aside from the amalgamation at the end due to stop-motion limitations) whereas the 2011 feature of the same name totally degraded that experience due to the use of CGI.

I'm terrified about how the new Alien movie is going to look when they reveal the Xeno , set, and Geiger rooms are entirely done in CGI.

I dunno, I love the 1982 movie too, but most of the defibrillator scene doesn't look like anything but rubber models to me. It's just a different kind of fake-looking.

Carpenter always worked under a budget, I thought.
