There's a 0% chance it's Freespace. Pretty sure they don't own the IP. But there's a part of me, deep down, that truly believes it's totally gonna be Freespace.

They could always make a "spiritual successor" or whatever, I'd be cool with that.

I've been screaming that for years, and wish they'd KS. Spreefrace: Attack of the Evil Grivans. Sign me the fuck up!

That inextinguishable fire of hope. I'm totally with ya: No way in hell, but damn...we can dream.

"Prepare for disappointment", I tell myself.

12.9"?! You might as well just put a keyboard on it and call it an Ultrabook at that point.

Or just call it the iSurf, and use it what it was obviously meant for!!

Errr... Did you go on vacation during the last winter or something? Do you not remember just how fucking cold it was last december? I used 3800KW that month alone trying to keep my house at 65 degrees.

There wasn't a ton of snow, but holy fuck was it cold. And there were ice storms again as well, though our area fortunately didn't get hit as badly this time around.

Put some clothes on, you nudist. You can't go around twirling your wang in the wind (with a monocle on one eye)...Hard cold is good, it kills all the bugs and shit.

No precip, no problem.

Someone better ask her "Hey Kinzie, wanna fuck?"

Anyway, good to see they're doing well and are adding staff.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do hope SR takes a few steps back towards reality. 3 is still my favorite, but 4 seemed too far out there, and not nearly as fun.

just bought an ultrabook from amazon, forgot to use the ad, sorry blue =(

did you ever figure out how the thing works?

Their reporting system is being flaky atm, but I spoke with someone there and I think I have a proper handle on this. Apparently the referral code is stored in a cookie for 24 hours, though it will be overwritten by another referral code if you end up clicking a link elsewhere that uses one (so it's possible you referred it to us anyway).

It seems we will get a small referral bonus for items bought by customers using our code, and they don't seem to have a problem with me presenting it as I am: as an opportunity to support the site.

Thanks to everyone for the interest in this.

Oh well cool then! Hopefully it all works out!

It's been semi tolerable here in the midwest as well. While normally we'd have a few weeks of 105 or higher, this last week or so is our first real blast, and it's not gone much above 100. Still not GREAT, but could be a lot worse, especially for August.

Of course, that has folks claiming winter will be extra bad, but they claimed the same thing last summer and thankfully it didn't come to pass.

I'll try it tonight, but the other day, it looked like I could mail any weapon I had to another player...

Motherfuckers!!! Motherfuckers!!! Im not a Blizzard hater by any great margin (no matter what the yes crowd seems to think) but after this....Im gonna build and nurture my hate.

Come to the Dark Side.... We also have The Last of Us and Infamous. And Destiny in two weeks.

The game also lets you send random drop gifts to your friends. X7 got two sent his way last night, after he'd sent me a TON.

It's not them, it's those DDoS asshats. It had been smooth as silk all day long since the servers came back up from maintenance, then suddenly community services went down, party matchmaking went haywire, and then my game was terminated. Entire B.net is offline.

Getting sick of these assholes doing this, it has been a problem on and off since the weekend trying to play WoW as well. My son got knocked off of League and couldn't reconnect, and went to play something else and then that got DDoS'd on Sunday...just infuriating, the idiots doing it seriously need some ball-peen hammer dentistry.

Ironically, D3 on ps4 has none of these problems, since it can be played offline (or when a server is down)...

Sad Google didn't land Twitch.tv I am scared that Amazon will cause:
1) No chromecast for Twitch!!!!
2) They will reduce the payment to streamers
3) They don't know eSports and we will lose the ability to watch every event through Twitch
4) Twitch ends up becoming a wasteland 3 years down the road due to zero development on the platform
5) Amazon puts up pay walls like Prime or other ways of pushing Amazon.

As opposed to Google:
1) Google+ & youtube integration of Twitch!
2) Reduce the payment to streamers
3) Google discontinues it in two years because that's what they do to everything

Exactly, thank you!

Couch co-op is such a blast, theres some sort of weird trading/gifting functionality, nemesis stuff and so on.
I've just found out about that nemesis monster stuff today. That's pretty awesome.

NEMESIS MONSTERS (ULTIMATE EVIL EDITION)

Avenge your friends and slay the Nemesis!
In Diablo III - Reaper of Souls: Ultimate Evil Edition, you and your friends will come to know your most challenging enemy: the Nemesis Monster. When playing with a hero that is level 10 or greater, any non-elite, non-boss monster that defeats you has a chance to turn into a Nemesis monster. The Nemesis monster will then depart the game with a single, sinister intent: hunting down someone on your friends list! Nemesis monsters will not target heroes below level 10 and will never spawn in Hardcore mode.

When a Nemesis monster invades a victimís game, it will spawn near that player as long as he or she is not in town, viewing a cut-scene, or fighting a boss. Each time it kills a player, the Nemesis monster will grow in power, then move to another game from the victimís friends list (up to five times).

Powerful rewards await you and possibly your friend if you are able to defeat a Nemesis Monster.

I believe I sent one of those X7's way last night...whoops!

Unsurprisingly, Targetting and all interfaces are a pain on the console version.

I'd say my experience is the opposite. Once you figure out the menu system, it's wonderfully organized.

I've not noticed a problem with targeting, either.

make sure you get for PC only. don't buy FPS games on console that also come to PC...

Or just buy it on whatever format you want to play it on, and vote with your wallet.

One of the staunch defenders of Zoe Quinn [url=http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1s644c0]just apologized to 4chan (let that sink in)

Now THAT'S newsworthy.

Interesting how the real feminists are now distancing themselves as far as possible from this and from SJWs in general. Heck, this is fun to watch, not only is gaming journalism getting a good exposition on how it is even more shitty than we thought, the usual SJWs are getting trounced by both the real feminists (who even call them part of the patriarchy, for crying out loud), they are exposed for the censoring hypocrites they are.

These last days have really been fun.

Also, the dev that made that post above fears that revealing her identity will cost her job. Holy shit how deep does this shit go?

I'm not sure I'm going to buy into the whole "how deep does the rabbit hole go", but I think it's rather telling that, of all the game news sites I visit, on a daily basis, this issue has been ignored by virtually all parties...
