$12.50 for Alien Isolation is HOT HOT HOT.

I'm playing through it now, and it reminds me what a chickenshit I am when it comes to these games...

SloMo Guys are always entertaining.

I'd not watched their stuff, and was surprised to see Gavin from RT. Their GTA videos are a fucking riot...

Didn't realize it until tonight, but the gog copy includes pc, mac, and linux. Pretty nice.

Doesn't Steam also have mac and Linux versions? I see system requirements for the three OSes on the store page. Did you go with GOG?

Who went with GOG and who went with Steam? If it weren't for the physical DRM free disk, I would definitely go with GOG, but until I know what kind of support the DRM free disk based version is going to get I'm going to hold off.

I got both. I finally found mac and linux on the steam store page, it just doesn't jump out at you (it's down in the system requirements).

Until then, I can't decide if I want to redeem my game on GOG or Steam. I backed WL2 and D:OS for collectors boxes, which came with a Steam key in the physical box and a digital key from KS. I redeemed the KS key on GOG since the physical box had a Steam key, so I have them on both GOG and Steam.

Didn't realize it until tonight, but the gog copy includes pc, mac, and linux. Pretty nice.

[I was just looking at the different versions. Each tier looks good in terms of value. Hmm, decisions, decisions.

Is the Prima guide any good, and well-bookmarked? I usually prefer nice, real, weighty tomes for that kind of thing. Something to read over a glass of freshly squeezed hobbit juice in the morning.

I've not seen it yet. UPS should deliver my physical copy today, and I've not looked at the pdf (at work, currently).

But it's 512 pages, sooooo...(legal disclaimer, I have no idea how many pages of that are listing all the backers. )

First roll:
Female
Wood elf
Paladin
Shieldbearers of St. Elega
The White that Wends
Drifter

Very happy to see a colorblind mode.

I am just going to drown in the lore of this game. Since you also collect books (you were excited about the Skyrim bible as I was), amazon has the Guide Book and strategy guide (512 pages!) in hardback.

Dropped $250 on the Kickstarter for this. Here's hoping...

P.S. I did not play the Beta. Didn't want to spoil anything.

I dropped $225 ($140 tier + extras) and then dropped some more on a royal edition on gog.

Luvs me some Obsidian! I see the extras are up on the backer portal now.

"If You Like RPGs, You Must Play Pillars of Eternity."

Are you a fan of old Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Are you a fan of RPGs at all? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Do you like exploring a fascinating brand new fantasy world with its own lore and history? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Do you like interesting, flawed character companions? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Do you like questing, adventuring, and romping around having a grand ol' time? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Do you like video games? You should play Pillars of Eternity.

Well…

Do you hate reading? You probably shouldn't play Pillars of Eternity.

is no one else here as big an xfiles nut as me? there's so much more material that i can think of right now to fill the show, especially post 2012. the reason they're doing it is cuz they both love the show as much as we fans, and the material couldn't have been that light considering it won multiple emmys both for cast and crew.

(Just my opinion) I felt like things started to slide after the first movie, and once Duchovny wanted out, well...

I like it's hayday, but felt like they should have wrapped it up a lot sooner.

Even though I haven't got an email notice yet my key was ready on the PoE backer site. I went with GoG even though Steam is doing pre-loads - no DRM thank you. The game is only 6 gigs anyway and doesn't unlock until 9AM PST tomorrow, so no big whoop.

Where did you find your key on the site, Cutter? I'm looking around and don't see it anywhere...

The downside is they wanted like 4 or 5 bucks a go and it lasted maybe 5 minutes.

That's what killed arcades (price, not the cabinets themselves).
