Yep. Highly skeptical, but would love for it to be excellent.

Stop being intellectually dishonest, Beamer, you are becoming a bore.

But what will he argue about then? And with who?

I'm moving in the next few weeks and I just found and played my Dreamcast for a few hours with my oldest(7 year old) a couple of days ago. I wish the Powerstone series would have taken off. They were a blast to play.

Funny you mention the Dreamcast, just saw this earlier.

Great system that never really got it's due...I remember walking into best buy on launch day, seeing Soul Calibur running on it, and my wallet just fell open and the cash flew out.

How a culture war exploded in the video gaming world.

Have not noticed a darn thing in my world, seems like some people think they are a lot more important then they think they are.

RPS is one of my favorite game sites. RPS is not just “another game site”, they are very important to both game developers/publishers as well as gamers.

More self importance.

Just because you've not heard of something or not following it, doesn't mean others aren't commenting or following it.

"Self importance" indeed.

Right, pull yourself into a bunch of none-sense and drama. Over here everyone... Look at me!

Feed it.

You don't see any opinion I have begging for attention, so stick your self importance back at me line.

Must be a bunch of home-schoolers waking up to life outside the house.

You don't see the irony in saying "Have not noticed a darn thing in my world" and then saying those other people are just self important?

It probably depends on the game, but I have yet to find a game that does not play better with a keyboard and mouse than a console controller.

Seems like a big waste of time making a mac driver for such, considering that the mac has far less games available to it.

I'd hate to play a racing or flight based game with k/m only.

A bit of SJW hypocrisy. The head of NeoGAF, one of the most prominent people to call every gamer a misogynist, has this to reply about a girl gamer that goes against his narrative.

Who are the real misogynists in this, one has to ask.

Screenshot that, I suspect it'll be deleted soon.

Game is great. Biggest problem I had in Alpha/Beta was the shallow busy work in explore mode, but the bounties help give you a goal when doing it and a natural place to stop. Played story missions on Hard up to level 5, seems like the biggest improvements since Beta is that subtle difficulty/AI tuning that other devs don't seem to bother with.

Strike was rough, but in a good way. I think my team mates may not have been alpha/beta vets so we had to restart a checkpoint a lot, but it was fun compensating for them and watching them work it out.

Still nothing like a Halo 1 Elite dual in Legendary yet, but there is still plenty of game left.

Destiny's biggest problem is expectations, which is a communication issue due to incompetence or intentionally misleading marketing so they can sell the game to people who shouldn't get it, although it's very accessible and should have broad appeal. If you didn't like the Beta thats probably a good indicator it's not for you and it was a very easy Beta to get into so that probably makes up for any shenanigans in that dept.

Also all marketing a previews make it look like junk, it's not. Feels like a Blizzard game with Bungie attitude. Would have taken the day off to play but too much going on.

All of that sounds good. The beta was what sold me on it, so that's good to hear. My copy is out for delivery...long day at the office.

Allright, since it doesn't seem to link right, here's my crawl...

Episode VII

A NEW(er) HOPE

With the death of Emperor Lucas, it is a peaceful time in the galaxy. No longer do citizens fear of being digitally erased and replaced with cheap CGI extras. Also, all gungans have been exterminated.

Rebel Harmy releases his wares across the galaxy, while Padawan Abrams brings the Force back into power.

Did we mention the gungans are dead? Cuz they-sa is dead-sa!

Alas, not all is well. The evil MausHaus strengths it's hold across various systems, in the form of needless Star Wars branded merchandise , including action figures, paper towels, and even cat pan liners.

RPS disabling comments on these stories disgusts me far more than the contents of their post ever could.

They claim it's because of "death threats". Preventing level headed readers from posting seems like they view their entire audience as part of the same cesspool.

They want to make a statement, but they don't want to hear a word of what their readers say. Rather telling...
