Caution is warranted but most radiation we generate that can get inside a house by bending and diffraction instead of piercing (like radio waves, wifi, not like xray) has nowhere near the energy to be ionizing. Adding more wifi waves (if this even makes sense) doesn't increase the harm much because of the quantum nature of electron excitation.

This is heavy.

Definitely going to wait and see on this one. And even if the port is good, I wont be rewarding them with money for it. I'll torrent it. Fuck Rockstar.

I'm confused. Headscratch First we're begging R* to give us GTA V on PC, and now that they've "remastered" it for PC and "next gen" consoles, given it a first person view and other enhancements, people are now bitching and saying they're going to pirate it because it took them too long. I'm sure that will teach them to bring us games we want to our platform of choice. Fucking looser. Middlefinger

Its got nothing to do with "taking too long" mate. In fact, I'd rather they spend the extra time making sure its a solid port and not a buggy mess like nearly every bloody game released in 2014.

Rockstar gets the big ol' fuck you on numerous other grounds including, but not limited to:

  • The messed up bollocks that was GTA 4 on PC

  • Shitty, arrogant treatment of their PC fans

  • Charging $80+ for a game that came out more than a year ago

  • Their bullshit abuse of power and altering games post-release (removing tracks from GTA San Andreas even for those that bought it before said changes took effect)

  • Their blatant pushing (and integration) of their stupid Social Club bollocks

  • Their bold face lying, flippant attitude and lack of communication

  • Treating genuine buyers like pirates

  • Shitty, shitty DRM policy

  • Other requirements: Installation and online play requires log-in to Rockstar Games Social Club (13+) network; internet connection required for activation, online play, and periodic entitlement verification; software installations required including Rockstar Games Social Club platform, DirectX, Chromium, and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 sp1 Redistributable Package, and authentication software that recognizes certain hardware attributes for entitlement, digital rights management, system, and other support purposes. Single use serial code registration via internet required; registration is limited to one Rockstar Games Social Club Account (13+) per serial code; only one log-in allowed per Social Club account at any time; serial code(s) are non-transferable once used; Social Club accounts are non-transferrable.

    Fuck them.

If they're such horrible people, why play their game at all? I mean, if you're going to take a stand, make it mean something.

Looks like no new assets......same city.....wow. Picked up Saints Row 4 today for the low low Saints Row 3 DLC price of $7.49 with all content.

I will get this when it is $5.00 or less.

I watched a preview the other day, and everything was brown...really disappointing.

They need to knock it out of the park with 5.

Finally picked the whole special crazy big package for $7.xx. Pound through this before GTA5. (paying what I should for a SR3 DLC anyway. ahhahaha)

Make sure to uncheck the vampire/bloodsucker pack in 3, as it overwrites the neck snap animation, I believe it was...

Nope, I just wanted it in my Steam profile, oh well. I will get my $60.00 worth! hahahaha

Can't wait - our crew is nice and plump with 82 members! We shall see how many people get the PC version.
I'm not sure how well my 5_something GTX (maybe 560? can't remember) will run it, but I'm tempted.

    DO IT!

Check out these jobs this guy made, only for 360 though, but R* was playing them on their twitch today. Was hilarious!

I am firing them up tonight. They look hard as all get out!

    Looks like a 560 GTX, with a i7 960 (3.2g) and 8 gig of ram...wonder how it'll run on that.

I didn't play GTA4 on PC, but wasn't it mostly a train wreck? I never preorder games, but I'd be pretty leery on this one given the history.

It was a bit piggish, for it's time. But they've since shipped Max Payne 3.

Not that I blame you at all for wanting to wait and see how performance is. That's never a bad idea.

Who the fuck knows what that app did to your machine.

Nothing. We used Superantispyware at work for years. There's nothing wrong with it aside from being fairly slow, it worked as well as Malwarebytes did. Malwarebytes was faster, though if a system needed a cleanup I usually ran both since they each found things the other didn't in quite a few cases.

I use mwbytes and combofix. Combofix basically kills everything, but unfortunately it also has the occasional tendency to kill your entire windows install while it's cleaning.

Yeah, I used to use combofix, but after it killed a machine once, I never went back to it...

I prefer mbam, as it seems to get most stuff.

Is the beta available to everyone?

I thought it was console only, but this sez:

PC and PS4 players won't be completely left out. On Jan. 16, PC players will have access to a limited "technical test" on PC, which will be available to players who participated in the Evolve "Closed Alpha" in August, and to owners of BioShock Infinite or Left 4 Dead (Turtle Rock's previous title). PS4 players who participated in that platform's "Big Alpha" will be able to play on Jan. 17, though neither PC nor PS4 players will be granted access to Evacuation mode or unlock progress.

    Vote with your wallets!

Ultimately, TRS makes the games, we don't sell them...and as the developers we've done our best to make a game that people want to play. We then have to trust our publisher to make the best decision on how to sell that game.

    Nice try!
