Was going to respond to nin and say there were two female comedian legends left besides Betty White, who were Carol Burnett and Joan Rivers earlier but dealing with a massive toothache and took a nap.

*gets shivers down his spine*

I saw something of Carol's the other day, and I swear to god, it's like she doesn't age. Almost like she's a vampire. My favorite routine of her's is still the Gone With The Wind skit where she walks down the staircase in a dress made from a curtain rod (13:00 in). Even as a kid, that shit was hilarious. edit: Odd. Wiki lists Carol's age as 81 as well...

Hope your toothache gets better, man. Those are no fun at all...

OK, I called Joan Rivers death 6 hours too early...<whoops>

Yup, reportedly plastic surgeons all over LA are grieving the loss pretty heavily...

That is all.

I admit, this made me laugh...

She died as she lived... having surgery.

No, each Amazon site has a separate affiliate program.

Does it allow you, as a bona fide yankee doodle, to set up an amazon.co.uk version in addition? I think I've seen both versions on sites before and I'd be happy to use a UK one for my purchases.

Seems I can... It's still pending approval, but I now have a code for the UK affiliate programmme:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=blsne-21

And for Amazon Germany:

http://www.amazon.de/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=blsne00-21

Sorry, don't know enough German to mirror the "programme" joke.

Thanks again for the support!

We're going world wide!

When I decide to use Amazon to purchase something privately Ill be sure to use your link Blue. Does it have to be game related? Can it be a book? Or maybe a peripheral?

Yeah, they have their own rules about what does or doesn't qualify, but it's not about being games related at all.

I'm assuming 3rd party resellers don't count? Or gift cards? I just ordered some (work) stuff and used the link, but it's a "fulfilled by amazon" 3rd part seller. So I don't know if that'll count or not...

The LED bulbs were mine, and they were from a third party and "fulfilled by amazon", so those work too.

Oh, well sweet. I just blew $150 on dvi cables for work (technically the company did).

R.I.P.? Nope: Betty White is not dead.

I seriously wonder, in this day and age, if any MMO doesn't plan to go FTP play at some point, as apart the design of the game? IE, 36 months (in their numbers), and it switches. They'd be crazy not to plan ahead, based on the sheer number of mmos that went down the same road before them.

No.

It's bad to 1) have sudden, 2) change, 3) not to mention early on (3 years), 4) that brings forth F2P, because there's nothing really good about F2P. F2P will always mean the game consists of an element that isn't fun, "grinding"; an element that tries to force you to pay for things in-game.

It's sad really, that gaming has come to this.

1) Oh my, 2) goodness. 3) I'm, 4) (so) glad, 5) your grammar is looking, 6) up.

That whole franchise is just cursed. The games. The movies. All of it. Soon as James Cameron walked away it went tits up and never recovered. They need to just let it die.

And what's the constant? Fox. They want minimal effort and maximum profit.

They overrode Fincher in Alien 3, they had Joss Whedon on Alien 4 and still blew it. They did the AvP movies.

Yeah, I stumbled into http://www.reddit.com/r/ThePlayroom (nfsw) the other day, and was amazed at the amount of porn. I mean, I like porn, hell I love it - I just never would have guessed it would have had such a following on the ps4, due to adding a camera.

Yeah, it's gotten pretty stupid. I've gotten to where I just turn updates off. Tired of their bullshit...

10 Things You Need To Know About The #GamerGate Scandal

"Articles everywhere have sprung up overnight claiming that ‘gamers are dead’, or ‘gamers are killing gamers’. Chances are you’ve seen one of these articles with whatever sensationalist title they’ve used to draw you in, but why are people saying this? What does #GamerGate mean?

Well, to put it simply, the general gaming public are concerned with the quality and integrity of video game journalism. Much evidence has surfaced over the past few weeks that exposes many gaming journalists have personal ties with the people they sponsor and write about. Type in #gamergate on any social media site (Twitter and Tumblr being the most bountiful) to be flourished with a wave of evidence supporting this.

And how have the journalists over at Kotaku and Polygon and the like reacted to this? With interesting and critical analysis of their own practices and methods? No. Fact-checking all the sides of the debate before coming to a reasonable and logical conclusion? No – just pointing fingers at gamers and saying that they are to blame. With this barrage of accusations from journalists and their followers, it can be pretty difficult to find out what GamerGate is truly about.

This article should help clear things up."

The public beating K took here last night was rather humorous to watch...
