100, is that how many they have or how many they expect to sell?

Linux users always show up for humble bundles, when available. I have no reason to believe they won't like this, either...

More on future changes...

On top of THAT, the site also says that 'Winter Soldier' directors Joe and Anthony Russo are essentially set to become the caretakers of the MCU after Joss Whedon departs. The brothers are not just set for the third "Captain America", but the site says they are also in talks to helm the third AND possibly the fourth "Avengers" film.

Don't really know how they'll do Civil War in MCU. Stark's MCU persona isn't really one to play ball with the government.

That goes with my thought that they could make a lot of sense of switching the positions of the two characters for the movie.

I dunno, in WS, (I felt like) Cap tends to follow his own compass than tow the government line.

edit: I could see Stark, after the events of IM3 and being attacked in his home, wanting to do more to prevent those kinds of attacks (including expecting fellow heroes to identify themselves and help protect their country).

The Civil War storyline was great in the comics, it should be pretty good for the movies. Not sure people will like how it ends, though, unless they change something up.

They've played loose enough that they can basically change the story as they see fit.

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about the Downey news. Pretty crazy they're already mapping out Avengers 4!

40 million PLUS backend is just nuts, though.

Personally, I think the Borderlands games aren't that good multiplayer games. When I played Borderlands 2, I soon realized the multiplayer mode was basically the same as singleplayer, just with extra players competing for frags. You may think "Duh!?" at first, but realize that this game is made -- from scratch! -- as a multiplayer game. I think it's ridiculous that this "multiplayer" game adds no real sense of CO-OPERATION to the gameplay other than revival, trading and the vehicles. I don't know about Borderlands 3, but the games don't even have voice-commands. Even the 10+ year old Wolfenstein multiplayer (before Enemy Territory) had voice-commands... V41!

You don't compete for frags, I don't think it even keeps track of kills outside of personal challenges and sure you can compare trophies I guess.. Voice commands?, the game is meant to be played with friends not some random people that you order around via crude pre-recorded messages bound to function keys.. The game is intended to be a mix between a shooter and the Diablo franchise, it's not trying to be what you are looking for.

ah-hahaha! "Competing for frags"...

Honestly feels like they reskinned the game, dropped gravity, and threw you back in. I am not disappointed, as I like BL games - but man....it is more of the same. Same voices (even diff characters have the same old voices) and the baddies are the same shit, but.....different. Instead of Kraggs...they are Draggs.....come on.....they even act the same. Dogs/Dragons/whatever....they stop, open their mouth, and you get crits. WTF guys......

Pretty much what I figured. Not bad, but not great...I'll grab it on steam for $5 next year.

All this shit that Paul W.S. Anderson worked on tarnished the series more than anything ever could have so I hope it's a clean reboot rather than build on whatever the hell they have planned for the, what, sixth movie or something?

To be fair, this is a series starring Jill the Master of Unlocking, BARRRRRYYYY!!!, a boulder-punching Chris Redfield and so on. It's not like it's even sort of fantastic story material that they're starting with in the first place.

I love the fact the new RE HD remake keeps the cheese at 11...

Well no official numbers have been released there is speculation that Hulu makes more from ads than it does from subscribers. Moving away from that model would signal a major shift in the way the company is run.

Of course they make more from ads, most people don't want to subscribe to Hulu because they don't want to pay to watch almost as many ads as broadcast TV. I've subscribed and they have decent selection of current season shows; usually available within a a few hours of airing to a day. But there can be a lot of commercials, and their player sucks and tends to gets stuck after showing a commercial and not returning to what you watch, at which point you have to reload the show and watch another set of commercials before you can hopefully finish up with the show. If they had commercials at the start and maybe one break in the middle it wouldn't be too bad, but its like every 10 minutes. It'd be interesting to see how much more a no/fewer ad subscription costs, but I'm not holding my breath with a company partly owned by Comcast.

Wait, so even the paid subscription Hulu Plus has ads?

Yep. Exactly why I don't subscribe.

Yeah gotta say the game is growing on me...the mechanics are simplistic and repetetive but there is fun to be had in the game once you start doing more of the side missions and just plain run around wreaking havoc.

Same here. Just got started and my only difficulty is finding out how to properly interrogate a worm. I keep accidentally killing them instead. It's a bit frustrating. Haven't done any of the main story missions...still running around the map.

you can grab a worm whenever, you dont have to beat them down

So I hit the grab button first then hit the interrogate button right? I could have sworn that the last time I did that, he threw me off. I'll give it another try when I get home.

Correct. If they have a skull, you have to beat them down from red to green first though, right?

More sci fi is always a good thing. There's always a chance it will turn out well.

On FOX? There is NO chance it will turn out well. They will force it to air out-of-sequence and will can it within six episodes. Then they'll fit its timeslot with another shitty animated series, or yet another reality show of some kind.

It's FOX. I mean... it's FOX!

Yeah, at one point in the evening, he hopped in, and within 2-3 minutes it said he hopped back in again. Not sure if he was configing it or if it was crashing.

I see he's in there now...

edit: Are others seeing an increase in spam invites? I get people with no groups in common trying to friend me, and it seems to be increasing lately.

nin, I thought you were smarter. Beamer doesn't pick the opposite, Beamer points out when people get lost in their own circle-jerk and 95% of the people who moan at him fail to understand his point.

Beamer's point ("goal" actually) is for everyone to talk to Beamer. He is a classic example of a contrarian, begging for your attention.

Thanks guys. I only mentioned it since Ray Ban did. At the time, I didn't want to talk about it, and even now it's hard to describe. I wasn't particularly close to either of my parents, but with both of them gone, it's more of a feeling of "I guess I'm next."

Between all that and turning 39 this year and 40 next, this whole "age" thing is hard to grasp. It's like mentally still feeling 19, but your body is screaming otherwise.

But it's about ethics!

Why are you always bringing her up?

Beamer likes to play the opposite in any popular conversation, in an attempt to draw attention to himself and get people to engage him.

Fired up the xbox360 version and lost like 4 hours on MP the other day....damn forgot how much fun it is.

Was going to try for 100% on the xbox, I am at 87% right now. Looks like it will take me a while still...

Longest part for me was the briefcases, the stunt jumps, and flying under the bridges. Get a guide for those.

And of course, the last triathlon, where you hammer the shit out of the X button several times a second for 20+ minutes straight. Holy shit, that killed my arm, and I'm so dreading doing that again for the new releases.
