Woot woot! I didn't read the credits page, but thought that sounded like him.

Not for me. Look at the second screen shot I posted, it's in the Important section.

OK, I can't explain that shit at all. Same size, same date.

What do your update settings look like?

Screenshots look good. The only complaint I had about the original is that you could max out the skill tree (get all of the desirable talents) before completing the game, I hate when games do that.

Better that than have you max out your skills, customize your favourite weapons, gather all your favourite potions and gewgaws, only to walk into a cut scene and find yourself without anything, facing a boss fight. (*I'm looking at you Dying Light, you sniveling wretch*).

*cough*JaronNamirfight*cough*... I mean, if you didn't think anything funny going on at the LIMB clinic

Interesting that console is day and date with the pc this time. Think it's the first time that's happened, as usually there's a delay.

This did come up for me as an 'Optional' update, which I have forgone FTB.

It showed up as a recommended update for me. I have Windows update set to only notify me of updates. I remember getting the updates that Saturday. First it was just one update that required a restart. Then after restarting, two more showed up, but didn't require a restart.

After uninstalling it, a little while later I got a notice of an important update. The description is a lie too. It says "Install this update to resolve issues in Windows."

It's odd that the update was installed Saturday, but this morning was the first time the GWXConfigManager.exe set off the firewall.

It's Recommended, but it's under the Optional banner.

The thing was, you didn't have to take every perk (or spend every point) - you could make the game as easy or as difficult as you liked. Some folks (not you) complained about the skill that let you see movements through walls. But at no point where you required to use that (that I recall). If people feel a certain feature makes the game too easy, don't use it. I never used the vision one, because it looked like too much of a cheat. But I didn't let it ruin the game for me.

Same thing with manual saves, and people saying they make the game too easy. Don't like it? Don't use it.

Done in one.

Glad Eidos-Montreal is back. They did a great job last time, and their work (specifically the leaked press demo) was what sold me on the game.

Microsoft is still screwing over PC users by trying to maintain a death grip on their walled garden Metro app Store distribution system.

They need to allow people to install "Modern" apps from anywhere like you can for desktop apps.

Get a tablet running 8.1. It's fucking awesome - anything I can install on my desktop, I can install on my tablet. Install Classic Shell and the shitty 8 tile desktop goes bye bye. I love it.

Does anyone know which version of the Orig Trig has gone digital HD? For me its Orig Orig or the first batch of Special Editions (which I still have on VHS) that feel the best. The DVD and Bluray Editions were annoying with further annoying Lucas additions and are total busts for me; in fact I stop purchasing them after the DVD release, never have bothered to get the blu-ray one, with the annoying Krayt Dragon sound... and in the comment section of that video, the best description of it is "a gay ghost sound."

Harmy harmy harmy...

I see that a lot of people that dislike this game were expecting it to be NWN. This game was never intended to be NWN. Its influences were Baldur's Gate and the other infinity engine games, whereas NWN was... a pretty different sort of game. And kinda vastly inferior, to a lot of the people that liked BG.

Thank you! I got exactly what I wanted out of the KS.
