Absolutely brutal, punishing game.

Yeah, that's exactly why I've avoided the series so far...

*disclaimer

Im definitely NOT a Metallica purist. I.E. I consider ALL of their albums great up to and including Reload. Different, yes. Still great though. The utter abortion of St. Anger and the abominable frankensteinian monster of Death Magnetic were shit. Utter shit.

What about Lulu? Everyone likes Lulu.

Heheheh. Heh. Sigh.

I'm a casual Lou Reed fan, but heard horrible things about that album...

Ouch - that is one shitty ISP you got there. You must use the majority of your monthly cap on pr0n, am I right?

*high five bro*

Man can't live by 20GB of pr0n alone.

No shit! That's like 20 one gig scenes, for 30+ days. That's assuming you do nothing else with the connection!

Nooooooo!

Steam on capped broadband = total crap.

I reinstalled x-com enemy unknown the other day, I would've needed a friggin 8 GIGABYTES download to even get started and finish the installation. On a 20 gigs monthly cap its a no go. On GFWL at least the whole game would've been on the disc and no additional download would be necessary.

"HA-ha!"

Actually you present almost the exact scenario the Titanfall devs were dealing with: slow dual-core machines. What they found was that their code would hammer away at 2 threads on a PC, but if they used compressed audio that would become 3 threads.

And this son proves you have NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, the fact that you are throwing the idea of "threads around" for audio! And that audio "takes up its own core" shows you don't understand a god damn thing.

The xbox 360 is a much less powerful system then a core 2 duo with an 8800 GTX. Shows how much you don't know jack shit about computers. Go load up your favorite mp3 player, press ALT-CTRL-DELETE and notice that your mp3 doesn't even take up 1% of the CPU's power. THE IDEA that the audio cant work on a "slow" core 2 duo is laughable! It's downright fantasy you dumb uneducated computer illiterate retard.

Calm down bro, it's just video games.

Wow...

I'd almost be tempted try this, but I doubt I'd enjoy their idea of "fun".

Maybe for $5 one day...

Seriously! I've had to stop even bothering to install them after the last 3+ lots have all caused serious issues. Potentially leaving me open to security issues (hope my firewall and AV are more than up to the task).

Are they doing this on purpose to force us to upgrade to Windows 8? I wouldn't put it past them... pricks.

I generally wait a minimum of two weeks, and sometimes a month. Yeah, it's not the best, but it beats reloading the OS every time they fubar something.

No spoiler but the ending of Mordor certainly left it open for a sequel. One might go so far as to call it sequel baiting.

I'm hoping they might patch in a new game + mode...not holding my breath, but it would be awesome.
