I think the best complement I can give Harryhausen was my first experience with him: Clash of the Titans came out in 1981, which means I would have been 6 at the time. I had heard about it from my father, and it looked neat, and he agreed to take me to see it.

A week or two before it came out, I remember turning on the tv one day, at the exact moment a commercial for the movie was playing, as Harryhausen's stop motion Medusa makes this hiss at the camera, snake hair going everywhere. Scared the shit out of me, and I immediately turned the tv right back off.

My father saw the whole thing and just laughed...

And we still went and saw it.

The software is great, but I loathe everything about how the software has been sold since I bought my first bundle maybe 10 years ago.

Their licensing and bundles have just been a giant pain in the ass...hate supporting them. Hoping this latest change might spur a group of folks I work with the consider other options.

I only got as far as Skyrim - boy is it ever good.

Skyrim was the first ES game that really hooked me. Ton of gameplay there.

I'd have to look at my mods at home before recommending anything...
