Apparently they sell a 50 gallon drum of lube, that got mentioned all over the web a year or so ago...(not googling that at work, sorry).

We may have to hold a contest as to who can order the kinkiest, dirty thing from amazon.

I appreciate your guys' willingness to go through some aggravation for this. From what I can see of Amazon's reporting system, I won't be able to see items ordered until the following day, so I may not know about today's activity until tomorrow.
Wait, sooooo like...well this is ALL hypothetical *cough* so...uh...IF someone was to order a book through the ad that MIGHT be called, "Adult Male Bedwetting - A Self-Help Guide To Stopping The Midnight Menace" uh... Blue do you actually SEE everything that people buy...uh...hypothetically ofcourse *cough*

It seems I do, though there's no indication of who bought what.

Yeah, you can be a brony or whatever, he just won't know WHO is the brony.

Ok, I emptied out my cart and closed the window. Then I clicked through the link. I did see the referral code on the inital page, but it disappeared once I went past that page. (I am a prime member, don't know if that matters)

Same experience here: Once I did a search, I believe it disappeared. Hopefully it still applies, and is in a cookie or such.

What about something like a search box (3rd column, bottom right) @ https://widgets.amazon.com/ ? Could you use that? Or is it more of an aesthetic deal, where you don't want it cluttering the page?

Thank god it happened before Destiny came out...
So Nin, were you a fan of the Halo series at all? I see the hype for Destiny and it's piqued my interest but I could never get into Halo. If it's too similar I may have to pass.

I think I played a little of the 1st and 3rd ones, but would always lose interest.

Based on a limited taste, the difference I like are:

A lot of different things take place in a huge open map(s). I wouldn't call it "open world" but it's similar to that, with more of a MMO feel (in a good way). Some missions might take you to various points in the same map, and you can also free roam, taking up small sidequests all around the map.

A centralized hub. Again, semi MMO like. (Good news: ) This is where you claim you rewards, buy new stuff, access storage, etc. (Bad news: ) The gripe here is there's no open chat, either text or audio. Which means you can only communicate with folks in your party. Short of allowing keyboard access, I'm not sure how they fix that, but the idea that people are somehow supposed to form raid groups in game is laughable. They won't come out and say it, but the way it's designed, you have to do all that homework (joining a raid, a guild, etc) outside the game. And that seems incredibly short sighted of them. But Strikes (3 man missions, sort of mini raids) ARE queue-able (and will probably be what I stick with).

I've only played two of the 3 classes, but each felt semi different in abilities. I like that not only can your character be upgraded, but so can guns and gear. You'll still replace stuff, but it's nice in between that to pick certain upgrades from a sort of skill tree.

Lot of different gun styles, including elemental, fire rate, charge vs regular shot, etc.

An art style that just makes me drool. On the current gen systems (ps4, xbone), it's damn pretty.

How does that amazon click-through ad work? I have some stuff in my cart that I want to buy, can I click on that link and checkout for Bluesnews to get the credit, or do I have to add it after clicking through there, or do you only get credit if I buy the item advertised?

You'd have to go to amazon through the link and then add stuff to your cart. Going through the link adds a session cookie that tells them "hey, this came because of this particular ad banner." Having stuff in your cart from going straight to Amazon, and then clicking on Blue's banner won't work, as the session cookie wouldn't transfer to your cart.

And we believe that it's for all items, but we're still waiting on confirmation with regards to that. Even so, it doesn't hurt to try it.

Alright, let's test this fucker. Just bought a book...

Also got the stupid warning about "data uploaded from a different PS4" for my diablo save...

edit: But the bomb scare was nucking futz...

The spitting cobra is one of several venomous snakes that can continue operating up to an hour or more after being separated from their body, something Peng Fan did not take into account or was unaware of.

Heard of that with rattlesnakes as well...

Woot! Think I just hit 18 on my DH...really surprised how well the controls have worked out.

Haha, I thought you were skipping because you got so high on PC?

It was more of an annoyance that they wouldn't allow character migrations (which is still fucking stupid, ESPECIALLY when they want you to register your PSN ID with battle.net!), and the thought of grinding out paragon again.

But after watching some folks play for an hour, it looked too fun to pass up. And I really do like how it works on the controller - I expected to have to remap buttons to my liking, but so far the default seems to work really well.

Quite happy, so far. Trying to pace myself, so as not to get burnt out...

edit: Oh,"high" = high level. Sorry, still half asleep.

Condensated info for today's morning (sorry nin ):

Remember the anonymous mod in Reddit that leaked those chat logs about mods in reddit deleting everything? Apparently he was now banned from reddit.

Context is good! When just an image is posted, it's not always obvious who it is, how they figure into everyone elses shouting, what they're doing, etc...

(So this is better. Thanks! )

(edit: Sorry if I came off as grumpy.)

So I finally bought Diablo 3 today since it was on sale at Best Buy for $20. Instead of installing from the box though I tried the free play version to level 10. I got to level 4 playing solo and got a network disconnect. I figured I needed to let it install completely since I had started playing as soon as it was "playable" during download.

So I exit and let it finish downloading. Then I go back in and play and I got another network disconnect. I went back in to the dungeon again but got another disconnect shortly after restarting. Maybe it's because I was fighting a lot of enemies and clicking a lot? I have Comcast Blast! internet and Steam and Battle.net both report download speeds of 6-7mbps. I've had it for over a year since moving in this house so it's definitely not on my end. Anyway, I'm gonna return the unopened box to BB this week. I figure I will get Divinity eventually to scratch the Diablo itch plus no always online DRM...

Blizzard and sony are being ddos'd to fuck and back right now. Coincidence? No.
