Say what you want about Blizz, they still listen to their customer more than most developers / publishers out there at the moment.
You mean besides that whole "online only + auction house" that everyone made clear they didn't want, and they implemented it anyway?

I guess I went in with too much expectation from the first but believe me it was still much better than some pretty brilliant marvel franchises imo.
I do that a lot too. And yeah, Iron Man 3 didn't do much for me, either...

I agree. If they wanted to go that route, they could have used indiegogo, which I believe allows what they call "flexible funding".
Just saying "I'll take whatever you give me, but the game will happen either way" isn't really in the spirit of KS, or (IMO) how it was designed to be used.
THAT was actually why I sent it in - I was trying to point out HOW they were doing it, and not because I wanted them to be successful.

I would trade the first-person viewpoint for third person with armor. I'm all for more character customization, especially if it leads to more character depth and cooler loot.

The project is already funded, but that was easy, since it began with a goal of one dollar, as the developer admits he will finish the game no matter what, but he also really needs the money.
Can't say I'm really excited about the way that was done...

Yeah, that's true. The only thing that would really work while still being fair to the animals would be something like the wolf preserve not too far from me in west Tennessee. Though I've never been there, I hear it's pretty cool.
While I've never been to it, we have some sort of wildlife place around here, but it sounds more like a redneck with a few pens. They apparently decided it would be a great idea to bring a wolf to the state fair one year, and allow people a chance to buy a picture of them, posing next to (IE in the pen with) the wolf. This went fine for a few days, until it bit the shit out of a womans face...

I just finished Blood Dragon yesterday. Fun ride.
How many hours did you put in? Steam shows me at about 5, but I've largely just explored and haven't done many of the missions yet.
