The existing Premium modules are not shutting down nor are they going to stop being sold.
Currently, there are no plans for any future NWN1 Premium Modules at this time.

If you think that this is the first thing with the red cross and video games in the last 15 years, you would be very wrong.
They are NOT suing, they are notifying the game companies. Nowhere does it say that there have been lawsuits filed. Ceist and Desist orders are pretty easy to write.
The Red Cross is only supposed to be used in specific situations as outlined by international law and supported by major governments (US and Canada included) and this has NOTHING to do with trademarks or lawsuits.

Yeah, have to agree with you there. And its important to remember that its not just the Canadian Red Cross, but that the American Red Cross has been doing it as well and for many years.
And its NEVER been about trademarks, because you cannot trademark the red cross in Canada or the US, because this is covered under international law and the Geneva Convention.
You are only supposed to use it for the specific purposes outlined there and nothing else. Its pretty simple.

Its covered under international law and this has nothing to do with Trademarks or Copyright. The Red Cross has a solid case AND I credit the guy for talking about it first, not just tossing lawyers around and filing lawsuits.
In the US, its a Federal crime to use the Red Cross logo except for the use that was spelled out in the above link.

Heh, its wierd to read about this, considering that its been out for about a month now. It also includes the first 3 Premium Modules that we sell from the BioWare Store with the ability to play them off line.
Other names we threw around at Atari marketing - just append "Edition" to the end of it:

He is now ceo of Bioware Ray and Greg are still Joint CEOs of BioWare.
We are not going to be changing the way we make games. Quality is the first priority and this is going to be reflected in us going forward and making "event games" - games that are tied to their release event, not to any fiscal quarter or some such.
