So I just got Satellite TV, right, welcome to the 21st century and all that. So TWD is on and for the first time, I'm not torrenting it since I have AMC HD.

Holy fucking shit, does AMC loooooooove their commercials! Seems like there is a full cycle every four or five minutes. I'm pretty happy to continue torrenting them even if it means I have to delay gratification for a half hour because these assholes don't have a way to pile on an extra five minutes of fluff in a series of fluff to offset commercials.

Reminds me of how patching works for Path of Exile on Steam. Oh, you need this 10MB patch? Come back in a half hour or use the standalone launcher instead.

WAB can be spot on about what he talks about but he's a bitch when it comes to taking any flack for being incredibly offensive in some of his videos. His Dying Light review, for example, is pretty over-the-top when it comes to being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole.

He can dish it out but he can't take it.

At least Titanfall got some market exposure to allow it to last as 'long' as it did post-release and looked fun. I think this game will sink about as quick as Brink if it's still hindered by past core issues which may not be resolved through patching regardless of size.

I don't think there is any other game design or mechanic which removes more immersion than QTEs. Which is funny, since they're suppose to allow the player to feel more engaged with the game. All it does is take my focus away from something awesome by focusing on my keys and hoping I don't have to see the same lines of dialogue a whole bunch of times because I hit A when I should have hit W. Granted, it's not as bad as RE4 which went so far as to randomize the buttons to push or one every five minutes but one is one too many and just left me incredibly sour which also happens to be the last thing I do to give it that lasting taste.

There's no reason to have it at all, especially when no where else in the game is it requires. It felt like a giant 'Fuck you' before a terrible ending. I'm pretty stubborn about the line I draw in the sand when it comes to these 'features' and I have zero desire to buy the season pass unless the community mods in a QTE-eliminator for the present and any future implementations.

The last fight requires quick time events so I recant nearly all praise I have of this game. I don't give a shit if it's even a 'hit any key' button, talk about using bullshit mechanics in a game that had none up until that point.

I'd be willing to trade it for Wolfenstein The New Order now.

$100 for the ultra mega digital platinum collector edition. That said, I remember buying MK3 for the Genesis for $79.99 + tax at K-Mart in 1996 which, according to inflation, would be $111.02 before taxes so maybe I'm the sucker for not getting the $100 package.

Alright, but still, I don't think anyone who uses Linux did it so they could play a wide variety of games on, right? Surely they're an incredibly small minority which is why most game developers don't throw them a bone...although surprised that Dying Light has Linux support so maybe it's slowly changing?

I hope the game can continue with being a now niche title in the MMO market. It genuinely had some great combat, characters, and designs to set it apart from the average title in this now bloated market. Carbine had a lot on their plate on top of shedding internal staff so it's nice to see they're on track with fixing the game rather than calling it quits.

The Division looks like a good title but there's no way in hell I'd pay in to it since it'll likely be plagued with Uplay and the typical PC port fuckery they've been caught doing three times in a row.

Just throwing it out there since some seem to think it's a conspiracy. Here and here are the two mods in question which got hit outside of Nexus. This is a Reddit member (tied to the same film grain mod?) who got a DMCA report.

Not hard to find since it was mostly all aggregated to one thread in /r/dyinglight

I would have been happy if the stadium fell only on the Patriots team. Even the dirty Flyers can't compete with how much I hate them and I don't even really give a shit about Football.
