"Metal Gear Rising colon word" is developed by Platinum games. Other ways they have innovated in the genre include gun shoes and the power slide. Revengeance is totally what they meant to say and that was obvious as soon as they released their metal trailer when it was announced they switched studios, a trailer replete with running on missles and mecha chainsaw dogs.
Can you handle that?
It's good news that something like this is coming to PC. Konami rarely ports anything so really this is a sign of changing attitudes about the PC. |

I always thought that sudden cliff was weird but it makes the movie pretty exciting.
Most of the continuity errors are pretty meaningless for a viewing audience though. If Hammond gets out of the helicopter on the right side do the fences stay up? |

Maybe before complaining about how Bill Gates is spending his money you should at least listen to the video. Or better yet, you should try spending some of your pittance (and I have no idea how much you make, but it's a pittance compared to him) and try to solve these problems. Oh man, sm-fact down!
Yeah if some one gets a few million dollars maybe they could still be an idiot but when someone makes a billion by pirating technology and establishing monopolies for 20+ years during an unprecendented wave of technological innovation I'm willing to consider them savvy at the very least.
Besides the real question is who would have won in a nerd fight, gates or jobs. |

Its pretty funny that for a company as massive as Actiblizzard they only have two top ten PC titles and on top of that they're from Blizzard which releases along the cicada schedule so its pretty much a solar eclipse that they have any at all. EDIT(Actually its really hard to find this data but I was wrong. CoD and Pandas also crack the top10)
Also funny is that the assurance that another CoD is coming is at least as important as anything else for the stockholders.

I think the matches would go a lot faster if you disabled enemy movement during your turn setups. It becomes so important to test every move you make by moving the enemy around too, that it ends up taking forever and I always guess wrong anyway.
Maybe like an arcade mode or something. |

Netflix is saying they want to be a quality programmer more and more now which is making me pretty nervous. Why are you the judge? I like Supernatural but hate most of the CW shows-is my view point similar to theirs?
Also, what about all the quality shows you don't have and can't get? I'd love to watch Community but they are in bed with Hulu. So if you can't get it and your stock dwindles what the hell am I supposed to watch?
This is even more aggravating with movies. You can watch Terminator 1 or Terminator 2 but not both. Most classics are now you see it now you don't- De Palma's Scarface, and Apocalypse Now popped up for a couple months before evaporating. Even films that you wouldn't think would be hot properties like Cronenberg's Naked Lunch and VideoDrome (personal favorites) showed up and then disappeared at the behest of some boardroom conversation. I was hoping the selection would stabilize and grow because this is aggravating, however that now seems unlikely.
I understand why, the big cartels still want to bend everyone over the barrel. Starz thought Sparticus, Boss, and a bunch of 90s movies were worth half a billion somehow? In this article, Warner decided to take its toys and go home, but they have almost nothing of value (or made after 1965). Unfortunately this is going to lead to something similar to the few years after World of Warcraft got hot- everyone is going to try to make their own MMO, to everyone's detriment.
Netflix has a little breathing room - as a customer the other options are garbage, too expensive or ramming commercials up the ole pie hole, and their selection of contemporary indie and foreign films is pretty good. Still, it would be nice if things got better instead of worse over time. |

I think the word "ghosts" is the only unique language that separates this press release from the last three CODs' releases.
Do they have a positive cliche generator? Lets at least get some synonyms working in here next time guys. Ctrl F for "new" says they say it 13 times, at it loses its luster each time. |

On using Real World guns the veteran they talk to makes a good point. The game teaches you the look, feel, recoil, etc. of the gun but no game teaches you how to respect and handle them.
How many games do you run around scanning civies with the barrel while they talk to you? How about the amount of games that don't care if you gun down one of your allies on accident?
Not saying every game has to consider this, but some should. |

Of course it does occur in younger people occasionally due to bad luck. Most of the times it's their genetics.

A lot of little guys make make backroom deals at these trade shows, its not just for direct IV feed from the Big Publishers. IMHO PAX is a much better venue for that type of thing now though.
E3 seems like a fine time to release a trailer and call it a day, since more eyes are on you. Trying to do a full court PR press is useless though since most info is lost in the deluge. The worst thing you can do is rush a build out the door. THAT people will remember

If things continue like they did last year, we'll get to $10-15 by December and I'll pick it up for under 10 with an Amazon coupon in January.
And I'll never play it of course. |

Well thats the first bit of news to get me interested in this project. Life of Pi was stunning.
Also, its always nice to hear stories about people who can hold down a job while playing WoW. |

Someone has it out for...VLC?
One of the first things I download on a clean install. I usually dump it on parents/friends computers and they always ask me if they should "use that cone thing" but when I turn my back they've got videos open in quicktime or wmp somehow again. |
