True, it's mostly just an annual $60 roster update (a valid complaint on any of EA Sports' games), but if you're calling the NHL games garbage you clearly haven't played one. Simple as that guy.

He could beat the game 6 times while waiting.

The campaign is 15-20 hours long.

Ars review claimed about 10 hours, depending on difficulty.

There is actually a 'Pirate Bar' in my neighborhood on my way home where all employees are required to speak and dress like pirates.

I normally steer clear, since it's definitely one of those "go once and never again" type places, but I'm tempted to stop by tonight.

If he thinks Zelda is bad I hope he never plays Demons Souls. I have to laugh when my friends talk to me about having difficulty in any game after playing that, I have no problem with getting frustrated or upset anymore because everything else is like a walk in the park by comparison.

Lately, I've realized that I'm already bracing myself for Dark Souls...

Not that I can play it now... Finally picked up a PS3 with Infamous 1/2, God of war 1/2, Demon's Souls, and Castlevania... Playing through Infamous 1 first (PS3 bundle came with #2, so I bought #1 for $15 so I could learn the story : ). And that's what put DX:HR on hold, but I want to get back into it and finish out the last bit (5-10 hours?).

A little off topic, but you might consider playing Demon's Souls sooner rather than later, before they switch off the multiplayer servers. The multiplayer aspect is integrated into that game in a very interesting way and it'd be a shame to miss out.

They've extended the date they plan to switch them off a few times, but I bet right now it falls somewhere around the release of Dark Souls.

I'm such an idiot - I wasn't aware that there was going to be a PC release of Bastion, so I bought it on 360 a few weeks back.

Oh well, fun game.

That guy in Norway was just horrible. He called out to children saying he was police there to help them, then shot them in the back as they ran away.

No game trains you to do that.

Yes, Modern Warfare 2 trains you to kill the innocent. (Russian airport)

As stupid and pointless as that was to have in the game...

I've been watching Wilfred and I agree, bizarre but very funny.

While I was waiting for it to come out, I checked out the original version of the show. Also very funny but MAN is the girlfriend ever a bitch! So far it seems like she hasn't been on the US version, so maybe they're downplaying her character in this one.

So I bought Terraria yesterday at 6pm and didn't move from my chair, at all, until 4am when I finally dragged myself away.

Then I woke up at 10am and am now just dragging myself away, again, at 2:30pm.

Hopelessly addicted.

While out with friends last night I realized I wanted to be home digging in the dirt and building my town. SWtayed up too late playing it (not 4:30 though), and I'm having trouble resisting the urge to map out my town on paper while at work.

Funny, because pirates with flash carts will be able to delete their save data no problem. Good thinking Capcom Rolleyes

Not that this was intended to combat piracy, but still...

I bought Terraria last night, but I was only able to play it for 30 minutes or so. Oddly enough, I find myself itching to get home and play it more. Seems like a neat "little" game.

Haven't played Minecraft or the new Alice, but I've heard the former is pretty impressive, while the latter is rather mediocre and repetitive.

Just got my Nightmare Pickaxe. Since I've bought the game the devs have pushed a new release which added new features. The Guide is much, much more useful now.

Any idea if the new update changed starting equipment? I only played for a little bit last night, but I noticed that I started with a copper sword...but in a few of the tutorials the narrator started without a sword, and needed to craft a wooden one.

Edit: I finally un-lazy'd myself, and yes...the player starts with a copper short sword after patch 1.0.5:
