The two finger salute came from an insult to the french. Since the French considered longbowmen to be peasants they were not worth of a knight to battle so instead the knights cut their two fingers off each hand so they couldnt fire a longbow (effectively placing them out of combat)

I don't get it... in this video and in other recent interviews I see the creator's saying they won't reveal which of the three endgames from the original DX took place, but I could swear I read interviews before where they explicitly stated that all three had in fact taken place, and that this was their solution to the problem. Can anyone clear these up? Are these interviews we're seeing now actually older? Or am I imagining having read the above?

Anyways, I think to add a little bit of replayability without having to model more and more full levels. Add something like a "free fight" mode.
That's pretty much what Dead Man Walking is. I think that mode is a lot of fun.
And Nyarlathotep, and others talking about the max payne ending (spoiler!):
Beat the game on the hard difficulty and Mona lives at the end.
