Sounds like he should be the head of a drug cartel instead of a communications conglomerate though. Well considering his shady monopolizing business practice and the fact that he is largely based in Mexico, Im thinking the connection isnt just speculation on your part....

Bastards!
Watched Into the Darkness yesterday, I liked it better than the first film although some of the drama is waaaay overdone, overacted and B-movie quality lame.,, |

| I hate, hate how it will be a simplified version of Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim in almost every single way. I also hate how its an MMO with EPIC written all over it. WoW 2.0.... |

Cutter wrote on May 16, 2013, 21:16: I'd kick in big on a KS of an I'76 remake! It has the second best gaming soundtrack ever made - Outlaws being number one. I still love the story and feel of I'76. Hell, I still regularly quote it in real life. Whenever I'm lost...'This ain't right. This really ain't right.' Or when someone remarks about it being unseasonably warm I reply, 'The unicorn requires sanctuary.' Which always gets me an odd look. I hope this can live up to it and isn't just straight up vehicle combat alone.
Yeah I76 was one of the greatest games ever. Ahhh the glory days of Activision....*sigh*
Too bad this is an MMO and lacks a single player campaign, as such it will probably suck donkey balls. Hence I am very skeptical with regards to what they will be able to do with this, regardless of the 'talent' they have on board.
Give me an I76 sequel, lets call it I78 and Im on BOARD! Right now this feels like a moneygrab with a cash-sink game at the end of the rainbow... |

| After playing TF, Modern Warfare, and lately Natural Selection 2 CS just feels...odd now. Played a few rounds of CS:GO @ a friend's house and I cant get past how retro the gameplay is, and by 'retro' I dont mean in a good way. I was going to purchase it for nostalgia's sake but those few rounds convinced me otherwise. |

Well I guess you could argue that being born in a body that doesnt represent your true gender is an illness, or at least a serious disabilty. But that doesnt excuse the scam in any way. |

Whatever happened to those cooperative DOTA predecessors that were so popular in Warcraft III and Starcraft? Why hasnt anyone come up with a version like that. I would play that. In fact the strictly competitive nature of MOBAs is whats keeping me from playing any of them.
I would dig to play through a cooperative DOTA like game, especially one with a strong narrative and the ability to save your progress or at least your character. In fact that could be the best thing to happen to ARPGs because lets face it MOBAs are basically ARPGs with some extra NPCs and more monsters thrown in.... |

LurkerLito wrote on May 16, 2013, 09:52: Pretty sure online pass was killed because the new consoles allow developers to decide if their games will be "locked" to a single console. Given EA's history I would assume every single one of their games will be locked to the first console that plays it. Yep exactly. Other pubs have been experimenting with this concept through save files that tie themselves to a specific console or one time use saves. The next gen consoles will allow a flag to be that only lets it run on a single console and what publisher is ever going to say no to that. Wow, so no more second hand games market and no more borrowing games from a friend? Hardwired DRM, now that's going to cause a shitstorm once problems start cropping up... |

| That Nuclear Unicorn article had me going WTF more than once. Woman(man?) scams people out of their money, gets found out, tries to commit suicide and that fucker Quinnae Moongazer (WTF?) actually has the audacity to defend her while at the same time attacking a guy who actually knew her(him?) in real life for not being respectful enough towards her rights as a TG person while that guy is simply trying his best to save his friend's life? What gives? What is wrong with you people???? |

Yeah I tried DOTA a few times way back when before it started a whole new genre, it was kind of fun. Also watched a friend play LoL a few months ago. Thats the entirety of my contact with MOBA games, so it figures I would have no clue they have an acronym of their own.
I even have access to DOTA2, it shames me to admit I havent even installed it on my machine. |

Some of those are just clever as hell, and have lots of inside jokes only someone who was older could really appreciate. Also, I will say I think that Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls was the funniest cartoon villain ever - A turban-wearing monkey in a cape and go-go boots is just so awesome, I named my cat after him! Yeah Mojo-Jojo is awesome, although the Red Guy from Cow and Chicken is hilarious as well. Damn those were some crazy subversive cartoons, but hey so it goes. |

The original played much better with a wheel, IMO.
This. The original was a joy to play with all drive assists off, and a force/feedback wheel. I doubt they really redid the physics/handling unless they want to lose a core audience, but there is no way Im getting this if it turns out to be a Need for Speed in Grid clothing... |
