The console versions being offline and supporting trading is a real kick in the teeth to PC users, not sure why they haven't backported those changes. Duping isn't a real concern anymore thanks to them tightening up the netcode and there is no more open battle.net to worry about.

So now what happens if there's a protest in CA? I bet they shut your phones off if you're anywhere near it. That way the police can shoot you at their sole discretion and get away with it. Good thing CA is so pro-gun ownership so the people can defend themselves against globalist corporate controlled tyranny. Oh wait..

If you think that armed civilians can withstand a military crackdown with some kind of insurgency I have two words for you: Gaza Strip

Mind blown yet??

So unless the good people of the United States have managed to stash in their basements and somehow manage to field F15s, Tanks, and AAA units your 2nd Amendment aint going to be worth shit if your government suddenly decides to massacre its own people. Hell even homemade rockets wont help you.

Yes, a person should NEVER EVER EVER buy a shooter for a console if it's available on PC as well. Even if you don't have a PC good enough to play it, but still have a PC, you shouldn't buy it. In fact, don't even acknowledge the other product exists and tell your friends "I can't wait to get a better PC to play <insert FPS name here>". When they ask you why you don't buy it for your console, punch them in the face and tell them that their parents wanted to abort them, then throw their car keys in a random body of water.

This is good, sound advice.

Yeah, everything's offline again. Sucks, I was in the middle of a greater rift. =/

You should know better than to play a Blizzard game on a patch.. week

It's not them, it's those DDoS asshats. It had been smooth as silk all day long since the servers came back up from maintenance, then suddenly community services went down, party matchmaking went haywire, and then my game was terminated. Entire B.net is offline.

B.Net works fine for me.. If it was DDOS then it would be nice to have some proof... otherwise it is exactly how every single D3 patch ever looked to me..... maybe I am just unlucky

Well.. or the DDOS didn't affect European B.Net or maybe we just got bigger pipes

Well said Eraser, but it wont convince the fanbois. Its not Blizzard being cheap and not having enough servers for peak demand. Its never Blizzards fault.

So let's see, an individual calls themselves thus, therefore it's a pejorative manner. Makes perfect since, in the land of political correctness. And I'm guessing you're not a student of history, not even in passing; otherwise you'd have figured that out.

You call yourself a student of history, and you can write that shit down with a straight face??? Really?

I've also been called an SJW (actually I think it was a feminazi) on my YouTube channel when I pointed out some of the really creepy advances your character in the Sega CD game Snatcher makes towards several women characters (that comment was moderated so it no longer exists.)

Behold, the problem with labels. SJW might be the dumbest slur people have come up with yet. Stop using it. It's not helping anyone.

Agreed. A Feminazi? Ok thats fucked up. But Social Justice Warrior? Who came up with that one? Only right-winged nutjobs (or left-wing crusaders) could think of social justice in derrogative terms. It's comic book stuff. Its a bird, its a plane. No, its Social Justice Warrior!!!

Damn, wouldnt it be cool if someone made an adventure/action western game featuring 'Blondy' or 'The man with no name'? Something along the lines of Red Dead Redemption but for the PC and preferably with Clint Eastwood doing the voiceovers....

One can dream eh?

Yay? I guess? I really cant get excited about these kinds of projects anymore. Too many, too ambituos, all trying to capitalize on the popularity of Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous.

Now they rip off Isaac Asimov for what purpose? The Foundation Universe is fairly generic (also lacking any intelligent alien life) and while the series is a brilliant piece of Sci-Fi its not exactly something that translates well into a game, since the book is more about sociology and human psychology then any world building elements...

I say, skip that and go for a Go Pro. They are a little bit more expensive but are worth it in the long run, if you ever decide to get a little bit more serious with recording. I think you can get one for 200$ now.

Strange, I seem to "get" the term just fine, see point: Where I said that's where they called themselves thus. Perhaps you're just not paying attention. Here's the difference between "fighting for social justice" and "being a sjw" the first is doing something active. The second is sitting at their keyboard, blotting out twitter posts, and whining about the perceived injustices. In many cases "first world problems," you'll note quickly that the sjw's aren't ready to get their hands dirty on something, nor will they decry anything that might be construed as bigoted, let alone racist.

Of course, your quip about national socialism is fun. Just remember that "national socialism" in that particular context, was the solution to "Leninism-marxism" not being quite right.

So you understand the meaning but still choose to use it in a perojative manner, and your position is that National Socialism emerged as a solution to Marxism-Leninism. Wow...just Wow. Doge doesnt have this much Wow.

you're by no means alone in this, i just think it's a bit spiteful. cutting off one's nose to spite the face kinda deal.

you're not doing them any harm by not playing this game, you're only losing out on your own enjoyment. there is no education in this act, they aren't going to "learn" or "change their ways" if you don't try the game, (if you really wanted to affect some numbers, wouldn't showing them that people are interested in these free demos?) so the only one who is being affected is you. your actions are done in spite.

publishers are just businessmen, they don't employ sinister business practices, they're just interested in the bottom line. i think in our heart of hearts we all know that we partake in much worse practices every day.

(in the USA:)

ever eaten anything with corn in it? (hint: everything) you're supporting diabolical GMO programs by Monsanto corp. Did you drive a car to get that food? you're supporting climate change and invading countries for oil. You pay your taxes? half of that money has gone towards defense spending used in securing and bombing invaded countries.

you're a human, no one's innocent here, if you wanna live off the grid then go live in a hut in the woods. for the rest of us we accept it as things beyond our control, or we actively work on changing it. no one gives 2 shits if you choose to walk to work instead of drive because you don't believe in the oil trade. it's about the individuals ego in spite of a perceived wrong. it does nothing to affect the wrong being committed. you wanna change things? invent an affordable electric car.

So basically your philosophy is "I can't change anything by myself, so I might as well go along with it?". Yeah I get that, its sort of the prevalent attitude with regards to pretty much anything in our society today. It's the reason the 1% does as well as it does, they have managed to convince everybody that in today's global society nothing really matters so we might as well go along with it all...How trendy.
Sorry but I dont agree, the only way I can hurt EA is by not buying or supporting its products. To answer your question, yes I eat corn, but I dont eat games. I dont have to. They are a luxury, so Im going to choose to spend my money on that luxury elsewhere.

Its more of a personal statement than anything else. Yes Im aware that I can make an 'alt' account, but thats still one more account that adds credence to their business practices which I can't in good conscience support.

Please note that I don't consider EA to be 'evil' or anything as banal as that, I just dont like how they (although they are by no means alone in this) do business. Its not good for the industry, and at the end of the day its not good for gamers.

Now someone needs to invent an personal anti-drone defense system, something that maybe fires either a high powered laser or maybe microwaves and fries the electronics.

Defeated by aluminum foil for 50ct... also shooting lasers or microwaves at the sky anywhere near airplanes is a good way into Guantanamo

No need for fancy lazers. I think a scoped small calibre rifle could take out pretty much any civilian drone. Also thanks to the NRA they are completely legal in the US.

I seriously doubt that no one is going to come looking for you if you start shooting drones down though, lazers or not.
