Its interesting to me that this game will have independent and player run servers yet people are still spending so much money on starter ships, which i assume are only good for the 'main' server.

So only college students buy computers? Interesting...I never knew....

Only college students get summer off? Seriously though, these type of purchases go in waves, and the school year is a big driver of it, and not just for PC's.

US team didn't deserve to be there, I am never in support of a program that allows a team that LOST to continue. They lost already, they didn't deserve to move on.

You mean the Germany match? I thought you were an NFL fan, you don't like league formats?

Isnt he a Vikings fan? If so then how can he possibly watch that team after they lose their first game (normally the first game of every season). I mean they lost, they dont deserve to continue!

I've already played season1, but since i got season2 i've started over with season1, and going to continue to season2. Just an amazing game. I also have Wolf among us, but i dont plan to start that until all of season 1 is out.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

hahahah oh wait...wrong team....

/don't care.

//I find it a little humorous that they want to put Howard on such a pedestal saying it is the most shots and saves in the last x amount of years - but what about the rest of the team? What does it say about the 'merican team if they ALLOW that many shots? Eventually a few will go in.

It says how well the Belgiums played Bat

Not much different in my mind to a preorder, except you get immediate access to their progress. I do think this will put them in a negative light to people who do (and will) confuse it for a finished product, but thats the companies decision. This doesnt change the old buyer beware saying, merely reinforces it.

You can cancel a preorder, and if a game never reaches "finished" status, you get a refund.

With Early Access, I fully expect some projects that would otherwise not get released (ran out of funding, canceled, whatever) to just call their final version "Release Candidate" and call it a day.

Sounds like your beef is more with the digital distribution platforms lack of refunds.

Funny thing, i pay 35 euro a month (germany) for 150mbps down 5mbps up unlimited, but only get 100mbps because the modem they provide only has a 100mbps port. Fastest internet i've ever had. I'm not into streaming, but rather archiving what i want via usenet, biggest problem i have is affording new harddrives to store it all. /FirstWorldProblems

kabelbw incase any people in germany are curious of the provider.

You'll be glad they did when Microsoft's stupidity finally kills Windows and we all have to play on Linux machines.

Anyway, it's not like old games stop selling completely, especially when they have continued visibility thanks to Steam sales. If they sell a few thousand copies it may well be financially viable.

Personally i'm not with the mob mentality about Windows 8 and MS's direction. So wont be affecting me.

Really? Strange, as in unexpected? In the US 30% of adults say they take the Bible literally, and believe in creationism and an earth that's less than 10,000 years old. Religion is a very influential factor. Would sexual orientation be an issue at all if the churches weren't banging that drum to their devotees?

Gee, guy, take a look at anatomical charts for men and women and study up on how the human race procreates (how you got here, in other words), and you may just discover the reason homosexuality has been a deviant sexual practice in every civilization on earth since the dawn of recorded history. Long before there were churches, etc.

Actually homosexuality and bisexuality was perfectly acceptable during ancient Roman times (there is plenty of art still around as proof).

Homophobia is largely a modern movement fueled by religious nonsense.

It certainly goes back further then Roman times, Greek and Etruscan which that 'Roman' art is probably from. Its clear that WaltC has never picked up a history book.

I wasn't suggesting it didn't. It was an example that is widely known and has facts to back it up.

As for the other comment of where Roman "culture" came from...most civilizations have absorbed culture from various locations. The Roman empire lasted a very long time and it's influence spanned a massive amount of the world. This was not to suggest that the art was specifically Roman, or that homosexuality was specific to the Romans.

Some people just want to argue anything, regardless of it's relevance to the actual topic.

Wow, this certainly went over your head... I was merely backing up your point by saying that it goes back even further. But by all means, take offense and pretend it doesnt have relevance to what you said

As a laker fan my entire life (including when they suck, no fairweather fan here) i was really happy and very suprised we landed Randle at 7th. Once the pick went to the Celtics (our arch rivals) at 6, i was sure they would pick Randle since Embiid already got taken and so did Gordon, but they got Smart, which doesnt make any sense unless they are trying to piss off Rondo, which i think is a foolish move on their part.

Excited about the rebuilding process. As for the Knicks, i hear rumblings they are going after Pau Gasol, which makes sense, since he knows the triangle and Phil and Fisher very well. It almost seems like the Knicks are trying to run Carmelo out of town, which i dont blame them for as i dont think he'll ever get a ring or help a team get better with him on the floor (i dont want him in LA either).
