| I hear that. I never have personally. I'm not into pimping my computer to inflate an arbitrary number, even in hardware reviews i always skipped their metric and went straight to the games performance. Real world benchmark > Synthetic benchmark |

| I really gotta say, Stardrive has impressed the fuck outta me. Real time strategy meets turn based strategy at its finest i've ever seen. |

| I'd personally rather see Netflix succeed, however i've come to the point to where i just rather have all the content on my own harddrives. Currently at 9tb's filled of tv shows and movies and counting. |

There's a city's worth of rendering (yes, I'm aware they don't render the entire city at once, but even so), of traffic calculations, NPCs as well the graphics to generate.
The fact it does all that, and looks as good as it does is astonishing. But then, what do I know? I've only got an MSc in Computer Science.
My ePeen is bigger then yours.

It's safe to say say this for all current generation console games coming out now (save for lets say, The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls) since we've been spoiled by graphics on PC. Me being spoiled with 1440p (2560x1440) and max everything makes me really want 4K gaming more, and anything 720p or lower looks like shite to me now. The current generation just has been around for far too long now, and looks as GTA5 seems to be PS3/360's swan song. It doesnt look as good as on the PC but Farcry3 sure as hell looks a whole lot better then this on consoles and its open world as well. |

Well worth the 20 clams if you're down with games like MoM, HoMM, Civ, etc. I think this is going to be a good value and I'll be playing it for a very long time to come. Throw in some proper expansions and/or DLC and this game will be around a long time. There are some balance issues and maybe a few small technical ones but I'm sure they'll be resolved in short order. I say it's worth the buy. I'm just eating atm, but I'm headed back in in short order! Nice one! |

Also i broke down and got Stardrive, so far very stable, no slow downs, seems multithreaded but havent really put more than a few hours into it and that was just getting use to the system. All in all, its pretty great, GalCiv+Sins is how i'd describe it. For me, it's more MOO 2 like than anything.
I'm loving it. I play a game every day. I can see that, definitely the troop aspect reminds me of that. |

I think a good analogy would be an all electric car that makes no noise hits someone from behind and the car manufacturer is not held responsible. That's a terrible analogy, but funny to imagine. Why is it terrible? Or are you just trolling like you normally do? You're comparing apples to oranges. Or are you too stupid like most of the children who use terrible analogies? You aren't stupid are you? Oh i get it, you dont understand what an analogy is. No problem bro, those big words are hard! |

Cutter wrote on Apr 28, 2013, 17:14: Cameras are obvious GG are not. Believe me, they'll be held liable too. So if I concealed a regular camera and used it to take naughty pictures then Canon, Nikon and other camera makers could be held liable? You can't hold Google responsible for what someone does with their equipment anymore than you can hold Ford responsible if some maniac plows into a crowd of people with an F-150. Fault lies with the person who misused the tech, but there's not much profit to be had in suing an individual when you can sue a multi-billion dollar company like Google. I think a good analogy would be an all electric car that makes no noise hits someone from behind and the car manufacturer is not held responsible. |
