If only there were some way to place that idea in one of their minds...

if you think really, really hard about "anti-gravity", i bet you can levitate into the skycity where all the mind-control devices are

Are you crazy? The further up I go the more likely I'll be to think about gravity as I look down at the shrinking world below me. I'll fall to my death before I can reach the skycity!

So what does Daggerfall fail to hold a candle to? The suspense is killing me here!

Pong

Pong doesn't hold a candle to running around the woods with sticks whilst making gunfire sounds.

If these guys want someone to worship, let it be me. No one has espoused the dogma of their religion like myself.

So you aspire to be the God of Xerox? ... The Spam Lord? ... George Lucas?

It's pretty amazing that Notch is still at #1!
Whoa you are right! He was the one who did scrolls skyrim wasn't he? It was that small company bethesda who did that indie game minecraft.

That may explain how it could be released in an unfinished state and then have updates slow right down, even when there's still numerous things to do!

I also have an extra copy of The Ship to gift. If anybody is still in need then let me know. First come first serve unless a better offer is made before I check the thread.
Oh, yes please. I have the same nick and avatar on Steam.

You caught me just before I went to bed I'll gift you The Ship when I get up later.
Thanks a lot. You're welcome to Serious Sam HD: FE if you don't already have it! Or anyone else for that matter, if you don't want it. Why are free games so hard to get rid of? x)

Here's an even longer shot than Portal, who wants Half-Life 2?

I'm not sure if I'd play Serious Sam or not. Probably not. I'd rather it found a home where it was loved and hugged and fed and... well, you get the idea.

I think I may have another copy of The Ship to give away, too. I misread it thinking one gift was the SP and one the MP, but it seems they both contain the whole package. So if anybody else is still wanting a copy of The Ship then chuck me a bone. Standard T&C's still apply.

I sent you a friend req., reisub. I'm the one with the baby in a helmet and about 230 hours in Skyrim. So far

If there was an NPC named Luke in Skyrim I'd use level three Unrelenting Force on him. Just cus.

IIRC you gave off some light/sound when hacking, so if you hack a vehicle whilst infantry are around then it's riskier - i.e. the mobile spawn vehicles

It is entirely possible that I've goofed. I'm still on level 2 Unrelenting Force. Whilst I had done the quest I'd not yet been to Riverwood and returned to the Greybeards. I'm very much hoping that's what it is, as it was one of my fave parts!

If I have goofed then I hereby apologise for any double-takes, spit-takes, heart jumps, cardiac arrests, or any other reactions to my previous post.

More disturbingly, it seems Unrelenting Force at max level no longer takes opponents off their feet! Blowing enemies off clifftops has become a little trickier now :o

News Comments > Skyrim Ships 10M; "Fastest Selling Title in Steam's History"
30. Re: Skyrim Ships 10M; Dec 17, 2011, 04:42 J

It's a close call for me... according to Steam New Vegas has absorbed 195 hours of my life and Skyrim has absorbed 185 so far. On one hand the characters in Skyrim seem flatter (a few more voice actors would have helped there), but Skyrim seems to support different playing styles more. So far I've created a magic assassin, a rogue assassin, a vampiric pure mage, a werewolf barbarian, an illusionist fighter and an illusionist conjurer. Each one plays through differently, but I can sense the underlying need to stay the course to keep my edge, and not to succumb to temptation and start boosting random skills. I like that.

Whilst I'd like to see Charm/Dominate and more speech checks, I can't deny that I'm getting a lot out of Skyrim, and I certainly cannot argue about value for money.
