| I can't actually tell whether the battles are turn based or whether they're like the Dark Chronicle battles. I think there's an element of both, there certainly seems to be free movement in battles because the player clearly dodges a boss (the robot thing) charging at him in one clip. But there's also a menu on the screen (the thought bubbles), although since I can't read japanese I'm only guessing that it's a menu and not some kind of status display. |

I use a cheap chinese wireless keyboard-with-trackpad for my media centre, it's more convenient than wires, and you can hand it around at parties.
For my desktop, an el cheapo wired keyboard and a razer diamondback 3g wired mouse, which is on it's way out, like the last razer mouse I bought. Bad build quality from razer in my experience, but maybe that's just because it's their budget mouse. |

| I'm warming up to minecraft again. This branch of development provides a reason for me to play. An objective! Or the beginnings of a system that provides more meaningful objectives than "build some pretty but useless crap" |

That said, I haven't pirated any games in a while, because I can generally tell what I'll like from all the info floating around, and if there's one I missed, I'll hear about it eventually.. and, more eventually, all games become very cheap, AND I have so many games waiting to be played now that I'm good for a few weeks at least. The problem with that is you have played hundreds of games that you never paid for.... And consequently has a much wider base of experience on which to judge new games, albeit tempered by the "percieved value" thing where the previous games were free. |

Surely you could fudge a decent smooth loading bar speed by coding an ingame loading-time benchmark, and calibrating the movement of the loading bars to that score?
Although sometimes "loading bar freezes at 37%" can be a good diagnostic of what bug is occuring, in some games at least. |

Everyone makes un-PC jokes in their own time, privately. We've got a friend with a big nose, and occasionally we call him jewnose, and there's genuinely no offense given or taken. For all we know the dev who put this in was female and being ironic.
Techland deserves all the stick they can get for the technical quality of the game, and none of it for this extraordinarily minor slip up. |

| PC gaming declined because of the surge of cheap, low powered laptops. It was sustained by those who chose desktops nonetheless. |
