Why can't they just have a tribes game being tribes? Why do we have to make it bigger (64 wasn't enough players) or make it always online, or make it something else. I mean PvP focused... WTF is that, this is an online FPS about KILLING other people online. There's no bots, there's no single player, so why do you even have to mention PVP? Adding too many weps to a game also dosn't make it better, try keeping it to a nice number(like 9 from the first game) and just make those weps the best possible.
I need to try out GA, just never got around to it. |

| I'm wondering how many maps we'll get from this. Esp after the last game came with everything already on the CD and just had to unlock for "free" map packs. Will prob still get this since I've been still playing BC2. |

| Yea the wow installer is horrible. You need double or more free space to the size of your game for the install. You download 6 gigs of patches, then they copy the whole game while overwriting the old one. Don't know why they can't just patch one file at a time and need oh say 10mb free space? |

| They're making ZG a questing zone. So it's no longer an instance. It's still all there in one form or another, but you don't have the raid part of it. |

Your right you can make more in combat missions now. But Maybe it was just the way I started (since there was no clue as to which is easier and which is harder) But my combat guy got damaged soo much after a few missions I had to restart because I couldn't afford to repair it. I just slowly worked my way up and got 3-4 freighters and spent a few hours doing trade. Now I have a small fleet of them and working on building up an attack force. Not enough hours in the week extra to really sink into it sucks.
Terran Conflict is all you need. I picked up all the X3's version for like 5 dollars on the xmas sale, but only playing TC. Also doing a bit of web research helps when starting a new game. |

| Unless you barrow someone else's save... expect to spend a LOT of time before you get a good return. I think I dropped like 20-30 hours into the game because I saw a descent return and started getting to some of the mid range stuff. Fighting is fun... but the econ and running shipping stuff seems to be required to get a good amount of time and money. |

| Might be wrong to say it, but I've liked almost all the FF games. Didn't play the mmo's, or the latest one yet, but 8/9/10/11 were all solid games. Not just rehashes of the same game like some people tend to think without even playing them. But to each his/her own. |

It all depends on how the co-op is done. Also the person your playing with. If you find someone that does what you do in game then you tend to have a better exp. Like If your partner just runs into each room blowing shit up and wasting all their ammo... you won't have as good exp as someone playing with you that just crawls along checking every last room and corner for anything that goes bump. I love the idea of a SP like DS and then throwing in a co-op or MP mode that's like the Wii DS.
I love the idea of a group of people teaming up to try to survive. I'd really love it if the team wasn't together and your goal at the start was just to find each other, but that takes a whole new level or design and backbone. |

Man they better not charge for the comic. Anyways, I guess the only new thing here is that you can play the L4D Sacrifice in L4D2. I guess porting over old content isn't as hard as backdating new stuff into L4D. I hate to say it, but if this is the reason it's taking so long... drop the L4D2 and just give us with the first one the dlc, then port latter.
I mean really there's still no bonus for having the first game and not the second. While all the second game people seem to be getting everything new and some old too boot. |

This Game isn't released in 3rds. If it was, we wouldn't be able to play protoss and zerg in MP, or SP missions. (Well I've only played human and protoss so far)
The SP in this game is Well past the entire SC1 length and scale. I didn't even finish it after a good 10 hours session and going by achivments I've got a good chunk left. Also the SP is really rewarding for playing it over again, vs the first one that I played and just shelfed. I see myself playing through it again at least once if not three more times. |

Yea, for an alpha it's in good shape. The Connecting to servers is what this is about getting hammered out, but once that's fixed I think the feedback will be really good for the final game.
A lot of the people that preordered it I think know what they're getting into with the alpha. Also since it's such a small team, this is about the only way to really test and work on stablizing the code across a wide base of computers. |

| You know, NS was one of the very few online games I never saw people cheating at. Maybe it was just the servers I played on, but the community seemed a lot more condensed and people were just good at the game. I know there was a few of them floating around, but I never saw people using them. Hopefully this will carry over. I'm thinking most of the anti cheat will be server/admin side instead of automated programs like VAC. |

| Considering that I just uninstalled it for various reasons... the best being that after 3 kills it crashes to desktop (still). I know a lot of people that tried it but just hated it. |

| Yea not missing much. Can't rebind 1/2 the keys, game kinda freezes and don't let you do anything when you try. Menu's feel worse then MW2, Crashes a lot. I think I crashed 4 times just putting in settings. Then twice when trying to play. Ohhhh yea left strafe makes you go right and vice versa. This dosn't even account for the bad gameplay i'm hearing about on the forums...I'm sorry but i've played better alphas. |
