I didn't mind the mouse control in Freelancer, I love the flightstick sure, but sometimes I'm just too lazy to bring it out and get it all set up. Sounds like it should be worth it though, thanks Creston.

Ya, I really REALLY wanted to like the last X3 game. But the very poor UI and gameplay just ruined it. I hope it was improved this time around. I want to like this game.

They probably have patches with those revisions already finished internally and don't bother renumbering them for release. I'm in the software biz, it's not uncommon. Although I admit, it does appear a little silly. But I want to ask about this game. Is it any good? Anyone try it? I love space sims and there's just so few quality ones out. I have played Freespace 2 to death.

I love the Total War games. I'm still playing Medieval 2: Kingdoms. Love the Britannia campaign. Can never get enough of slaughtering the Irish!

I bought an HD3650 for my HTPC b/c I heard that ATI gave better video playback performance and quality. It was the first time I did not buy an NV card... I should have bought a 9500GT. Got some weird issues going on that I hope are merely driver issues.
I had to have a 25 foot DVI cable b/c unless a monitor is detected as the primary display, the UI for Vista Media Center is virtually unusable (save the jokes please). So strange.

I'm surprised it took them this long, frankly. The EA NHL games for PC should go to. They're barely better than a complete joke as it is. A direct PS2 port. We don't even get the X360/PS3 version. And ya, could be ppl aren't buying them b/c they suck ass. Not b/c Pc gamers are just uninterested in sports games. If it wasn't rubbish I'd buy it.

I didn't make it to 70. I got to about 40 and just couldn't force myself to play anymore. You know it's time to quit when you work more in a game then you do at your job.

Ya, I find all the anti-Vista comments pretty amusing. I've been running it since day one and for the first couple months i'd have agreed with you on most everything. But since we've had good drivers for quite a while now and I've had no problems in a long time. It crashes about as often as XP did and it performs just as well. In fact, most of the people I find that bitch about Vista have either never run it. Have piss-poor hardware or have completely bought into the Mac ad's.

I guess if I had a famous name and had tons of money, I wouldn't give a crap either. It's easy to sit here all pious, but if I had money I think I'd probably just take it easy on a beach, gaming on a pimp laptop and watching bikini clad women, while I sipped on a beer... Fuck you Tom Clancy and your richness!!!

Bio's previous statement about no longer working on other people IP's is pretty much null and void. They have new bosses now calling the shots. They'll work on whatever EA wants them to work on and that's really all there is to it. If it's KOTOR 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 then that's just what it is.

I didn't think it was a secret. Am I missing something? I thought MS wanting to push downloadable movies was kinda common knowledge. That and anything that hurts Sony helps them.
